Sorry to disappoint you but that car is NOT an original 356B. If it is a 1962 model B then the only conclusion is that a "C" twin grill has been fitted. Most probably it is a later 356C and worth less. My thumbnail is a 356B original red colour for a 1960 356B was Rubinrot or Ruby Red.
R E This car is an original B, and the features you mention are correct on this car. It’s a Porsche 356 B t6. The t6 came in very late 1961 and differs from the B t5 in several areas. From the front, the hood/bonnet is squarer where it curves between the headlights, making for a wider opening, the wing/fender gained a remote fuel filler flap, on left hand drive cars only, the rear glass screen was enlarged, leading to noticeably slimmer C pillars, and the engine cover gained the two grilles. This example is an early car, as the inner panel of the open engine lid is solid, later Bt6 cars had a flight of louvres down this panel. When the C came out, they added disc brakes with different wheels and the flatter hubcaps. Also a C dash has an extra metal extension below the radio panel with some switch gear relocated to here. I have a late 1961 built, 62 year model that’s a sister to this car in the video.
@@ronanwhite6785 I was going to reply to whomever said this wasn't original. You've got the "t" designations right. I had a 1960 Roadster which was a t5. The dual grill t6 was available for almost two years before the 356C debuted in (I think) late '64. I had a friend in the '80's (when I had mine) who had the extremely rare t6 Roadster of which I believe only about 200 were built before Porsche discontinued the Roadster altogether. Also, I believe the "Normal" 60 DIN hp engine was discontinued when the t6 debuted.
Magnificent
Great car,Porsche built to last.
....no backup camera or lane-watch system? .....I'll pass.....
