Most people don't have their correct birth times and for Navamsa you NEED the EXACT birth time. The times listed on most birth certificates are usually off by at least a few minutes. Even an astrologer I know made sure to note the time of the birth of his daughter on his own because the nurses didn't put down the time on the records until almost 20 minutes after her birth! This is very common. You can be a little off in birth time for the lagna chart and still have the correct chart, but not with the Navamsa! If you're off by even a minute you can end up with an entirely different asc.

Because for Taurus ascendant people, the seventh house is ruled by Scorpio sign.Thats why he is saying about the emotional baggages and psychological issues related to the partner. Where as Taurus ascendants are concerned, they are overtly practical and all about security.

Lamp of truth I believe my birth time is correct, you are right that navamsha changes as birth time changes even by few minutes in my case. I have Taurus lagna D1 but have never resonated with any taurus characteristic on a fundamental or intrinsic level. It could be due to Jupiter in lagna, and Jupiter is stronger than venus because of dig bala. I am 30 and never married and never depend on anyone, in fact I don't want a spouse who is stable and financially strong as a priority but want them to share my values to some level. I haven't manifested my D1 chart as a Taurus lagna as far as my scanty brain can undertand. This my hypothesis. Maybe, my Gemini navamsha is manifesting.

Well, right about quite a few things, but wrong about the marriage and the financial parts! I am D9 Taurus from Libra in Rasi chart. Divorced (coincidentally with the 2nd return of Saturn), never did any financial planning. Yes, now living in a large house, probably the largest in the neighborhood, but because of inheritance from mother. Correct about the sensual element - my tastes are simple, I like to have the best! Correct about the intellectual element in the partner, but I wouldn't charaterize it as 'advanced degree' rather as a person of substance.
