I love my non Normatec boots and used them almost this entire year. I went from 40 to 70 miles per week during peak week and I feel like they made a difference. I’d definitely recommend these for anyone taking the next step in their running journey.
Thanks for the laughs. Placebo or not compression therapy feels good and I was able to add more volume and recover faster the first mara block I incorporated compression so I’m a believer. I’ve had my Air Relax since early 2020 and haven’t looked back.
I can say from firsthand experience that they do, in fact, greatly reduce soreness from my heavy leg workouts, especially when used soon after exercise. That said, I’ve always wondered whether they help or even hinder strength gains any measurable amount.
Compression socks and a golf ball are the budget version of this for me...

They’re definitely staying in my rotation

I have another brand that is also not normatec and they work fine. I use them after my long runs and I believe they do help me recover faster.

Ordered a pair of Sharper Image boots from Costco for $159. I have low expectations but it will be interesting to see how good they are.
@@tkbuz if they got the squeeze , it should be good to go.
