I’m 51 and decided a few weeks ago to ‘obey’ my mom in that I am letting her hypocrisy and betrayal of our big family go, by doing what she said in trusting in God to work it all out.
I don’t think she realizes that this will entail boundaries for myself and my children, and we won’t be going out of our way to see or talk to her for a while. I did tell her, lovingly and respectfully, that this was my decision moving forward.
She refuses to hold members accountable in love, and she is also facilitating narcissistic abuse and toxic behavior. She refuses biblical instruction on the matter, and ignore scripture and conviction on it.
So in order for me to not sit in the way of sinners and be harmed, or tempted, this is the best biblical decision for me and mine at this time🙏🏻💗
This video was actually spot on, it is wisdom!! I am a gramma and a child behavioralist from a biblical standpoint, and denying self never gets easier, but is always blessed😅 I too, lack impulse control at times.
@@gwengwen4535 hi Gwen! I’m sorry to hear about the difficult relationship with your mom. I imagine that must be a difficult thing to forgive and have a good attitude about. You are right though, denying self doesn’t get easier, but God will bless your decision & give you peace about it! 😸❣️

@@savedsav i undestood that god does not talk to people , i believed in that theory for about 10 years , then i heared a voice about a lady that i liked that God will help me be with her so i waited .... then asked her for relationship but she refused , i undestood that this voice was just from my head ( sorry for my english
You will not audibly hear God but you can know his character through his word and the Holy Spirit guides you. I’m sorry about your bad experience with a Christian. Unfortunately there will always be ppl who misrepresent Christ, but Jesus himself will never forsake you or betray you. I highly encourage you to draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.
Solomon killed his brother I think. Maybe don't follow that yourself. Maybe you are lucky that those people get along somehow mysteriously but not ideally. Turn to study and exercise but actually it is hopeless for only some people. Not you though.
