The nano v2 seems like a real winner. According to Oscar Liang's tests this outputs more power than the full sized Ranger per power level. Hope it's not buggy like the earlier BetaFPV elrs jr module
So far so good here. Nice to see less issues with the hardware now... Happy flying
Another great review. Thanks Lee. So happy to be a patron.
Hi Lee I, Great video and review of the BetaFPV Nano V2, looks great, thanks for the information.
Thanks Lee for another good review 💯💯💯👍👍👍
Awesome review, Lee! Thanks! 😃
Looking forward to see what the ELRS team comes up with!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
great presentation but I would have loved a short introduction or overview about the backpack topic.
Will become more important is what stucked in my head but what does that backpack option mean for me ?
Videos on that planned when the new update is out... Happy flying
This module gets quite warm after some minutes, even at 25 mW. Especially the antenna connector gets hot. Is that normal?
I'd like to ask an unrelated question to the video. Do you know if it is possible to get telemetry data (live, rather than logs) from sensors like the gyro and the accelerometer, in ardupilot, inav or betaflight?
Yes, via telemetry sensors. Options coming to share that data wirelessly in future ExpressLRS releases... Happy flying
@@Painless360Thank you very much for the fast reply!
This is exciting! Would be perfect for antenna trackers!!
Is there any reason to get this over the Radiomaster Bandit? It goes up 2watts (900 mhz), cheaper, and smaller. Am I missing something that the Bandit has that’s worth double the price of this?
Most will choose based on price and reputation of the vendor. You pays your money, you takes your chance.
Thanks for the warning on leaving the antenna off. I have been keeping mine off for bench testing, but hopefully there is no damage from using it at 100mw. Will it simply stop transmitting if I damaged it?
Or, it'll have very poor range.. best of luck
I'm thinking of getting into ELRS and have a TX16S. Would you recommend this module (+ converter) as the best one to go with, or is there a micro bay size one that would work as well, whilst fitting more flush?
Depends on the radio. I like the RadioMaster Ranger modules or the modern BetaFPV stuff... Best of luck
@@Painless360 Cheers!
does it work with the controller that caomes with the cetus
x?
If its ExpressLRS, then yes.
@@Painless360 sick thanks man
