Finally getting around to opening some more Zuru Mini Fashion Capsules (yes, apparently they are referred to as capsules and NOT balls - who knew?!?!?!) from Series 1 of this hugely popular blind box/ball/capsule series.

The bags are great, really good quality and lovely details. I'm not sure that these were initially meant to be for dolls - I think they were just meant to be mini collectables - but they've definitely really taken off.

I'm not really into these but it was fun watching you open them. Glad you got all different ones. Your dolls really did a great job of holding the little things, and when Sindy was trying to put makeup on your Blythe without even looking - well no wonder Blythe was looking askance. That chihuahua really is cute. I have a real one, and she's awfully cute too.

They are such a good size for the dolls and great quality too. I was so happy not to get repeats. I'll probably hold out for the second series/wave of these to be reduced in price before getting any more. That was Horse Club Sindy who was applying Blythes make-up so she's only used to dealing with horses. I should have used my Salon Stylist Sindy, she might have known to look at Blythe as she giving her blusher. Awwww, I love chihuahuas (and dogs generally, although never had one) what's her name?
@@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis Her name is Petunia, which is the name she came with from the rescue organization. She's my first chihuahua (she's a chi mix) and I was really curious to see what the attraction was about them, because people who have them really love them. Different dog breeds are so different: hound dogs like to tell you where to go, herding dogs like to herd, retrievers like to bring you stuff, schnauzers like to keep everyone in line. Chis have the "little dog syndrome" or "Napoleon complex" so they like to rule the roost. For example my husband shares his breakfast with her, and if he's not getting breakfast soon enough he'll hear from her - lol. She's really smart and knows so many words, and she's intensely loyal and clannish. Fortunately for us she loves her crate and sleeps in it at night, since my husband put the nix on animals in the bed. lol Thanks for asking about my little dog! I love dogs and have had them all my life.
Do you think about ever getting a dog? Does your husband like dogs? I know your neighbor dogs enjoy your videos, so you must have a good relationship with them.
@@valt8744 Petunia seems like the PERFECT name for a Chihuahua, I'm glad you stuck with it, both because it's the name she was probably used to and also because I love it! I find the idea of Chis suffering from "Napoleon Complex" quite funny - I have heard (and seen on Instagram) how fierce and loyal they can be. I like to think that Napoleon was suffering from "Chihuahua Complex", in fact I wonder if a Chi was in charge at the Battle of Waterloo if the outcome would have been very different? My husband and I would love a dog one day, maybe when we feel more settled. I've never had one but he had a few when he was growing up.
@@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis Are you familiar with Calamityware? It's a line of tableware based on the blue willow pattern, with lots of calamitous creatures everywhere. One of the artist's motifs is death on a bicycle being chased by a little dog. That's Petunia. Haha now I have the image of Petunia at the head of a chi-army barking and nipping at the heels of the opposing fleeing army (with death at their head). In a battle like that, it's a pretty sure thing that no one would get killed!

Love that you didn't get any repeat with the bags, nice assortment of accessories even with the repeats. Your dolls have a nice selection of bags now! Love all the photos of the items being used, Ursula looked great!!
I also love that I didn't get any repeats. Really pleased with them all, there wasn't one that I didn't like which is always a bonus. And thank you - Ursula continues to entertain me no end!

Thank you - this is actually my old hair, I think I filmed the intro for this video at least a couple of months back. I actually have new hair but it won't show up in a video until next month.

I'm really happy with what I got. I probably won't bother getting any more of the first series. Looking forward to seeing what the second series has in store for me.

I couldn't believe my luck not getting any doubles. I'm not going to risk it again so won't be getting any more. Interested by the second wave of these though as some of the accessories look really good.

Thank you. So these are the first series of the Mini Fashions, there is now a second series so you may find the first series reduced in price if you're looking for them.

I'm still surprised not have gotten repeats but obviously more than happy not to have gotten any. I guess realistically I have so many dolls now that two gals with the same bag wouldn't have been an issue - unless they were going to be attending the same dolly party or event! 🥰

Yes, I'm delighted with them. Just wish there was a way to flatten or reshape some of the straps as thing they got a bit messed up in their capsule.

Agreed. The fact that you could end up with repeats is always a risk, I feel pretty lucky that I didn't get any this time. I think on the whole they are worth it BUT not if you end up with the same bag twice.

Thank you for all the fashion references! In my head I could see the design that I though they were mimicking but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Louis Vuitton is definitely a big influence on some of these designs like you say. I'm really happy with the bags I got and feel very lucky not to have gotten any doubles!

These are fun finds. The only downside to this is like what u said, repeats. I personally like the green bag. It's very elegant and stylish to pair with dark colour outfits.
I really liked the green bag as well. I'm so lucky not to have gotten any repeats with these. I'm quite satisfied with this little collection so won't be getting anymore of Series One. Looking forward to checking out what Series Two has to offer!

Hehehe, I'm so proud to have a 'method' named after me, even if it resulted in scored balls!! You got a great selection! I bought a couple of the series 2 balls in 'The Entertainer' (Inverness), not sure if you have those stores near you? They were reduced to £7 each though, which was a plus! ^_^
You definitely should be proud because it's a great method! Trying to open these "capsules" normally is enough to make me want to throw them at the wall until they break open. Children should never fear the choking hazards that these contain because I doubt they would get into them at all. Sadly we don't have The Entertainer here but will keep an eye out when I'm visiting Blighty.

Yes, I really wanted the green bag too so very pleased to get it. I'm surprised I didn't get any duplications too but also delighted. Looking forward to trying the second series of these as I know that some of the accessories are really nice too.
