Ah yes... the true Skyrim experience. Walking across the land at 0.5 miles per hour, as the Dragonborn should.
Surely there's a way to turn up the sensitivity for that treadmill. This is like a running-in-a-nightmare simulator.

It's not even a treadmill. It's a cage with a slippery ground surface that you use with slippery pads under your feet and body tracking sensors on top of them. The thing has existed for years and apparently it's just as bad as ever, unfortunately.

I've thought about that as a kid already when I read Otherland by Tad Williams: if there ever is what we now call the Metaverse, where you're in a digital world with your physical body 1:1 simulated, how on Earth are you supposed to run for as long as our beloved video game characters do all the time? Is it possible to modify the distance traveled in game per step on the treadmill? Might improve the Immersion!!!

Watching miko vs someone else using this in skyrim, miko's low "distance to step" is due to her running on the spot. She needs to lift her foot, step out toward the edge and then slide it back, in this video her feet barely move forward, dont slide back much and consequently very little movement is registered. Effectively she's running on the spot.

Are you stuck in a walk? idk how it works with that thing, but on the keyboard, there was a key to switch from running/walking.

I think you should play more with settings of height and speed. And of course download just a couple hundreds mods, some like body, hand physics, graphics, interactions, interface and more.

And then the treadmill was never used again. It'd be hilarious to see her try to use this in the jungle with gerald. Though she has put follower only mode on now and probably doesn't realise she left it on for another 8 months.

Seriously though, looks like a lot of fun, but yeah, even if Skyrim VR is probably the game I spent most time on in VR and I occasionally think it would be nice to try it with an omnidirectional treadmill, Bethesda games are probably the last games I would really want to explore with "realistic" walking, it'd be way to much of an exercise walking across the map.

I agree the Menu in VR was annoying. I hit the wrong button many a times. Unsure if it is easier or harder as I was using Quest 2.

How does lock picking work on PC? On PlayStation the rumbling lets you know how close you are to the right spot. How's that work on a PC set-up?

You must increase the sensitivity on the platform so you move quicker for your input.😄
Go to the settings an set the touch setting down lower....
Weight set it up not Down ahhh I don't know but still should be able to do that......

Now this one is interesting your stamina depends on you literally. xD But there's still something wrong with the design of it, its not a comfy as other full Vr with Omni-Directional set.
