Usually it is 3 AI put together there is one for the ears one for the voice then a LLM like GPT that does the thinking. It is possible to add a 4th AI for Image Recognition for it to have eyes.

I can imagine a few years from now instead of reality tv, having your own stage of AI characters on your computer and being entertained by their interactions, feeding in situations and events. Maybe this is the million dollar idea.
I'm quite sure that's already possible. Making a commercial solution out of it will be quite a problem, though, since the respective companies would certainly not let you use their AIs. You'd kind of want your own so you can control filters and don't depend on very volatile licensing contracts and stuff as well which makes it a lot more complicated.
This is good cartoon episode material right here. You just have to figure out how to get Gerald moving around doing random spontaneous AI Stuff as well as get him to listen to you and do stuff for you.

She made it using Unreal Engine (and various assets and add-ons). She made the AI characters using something called Inworld. The face performance capture for her own character is done with LiveLink on an iPhone, and she also often uses Xsens for motion capture. Not sure what the hand tracking gloves she uses are called off the top of my head. She modeled her own character using Maya, and the NPC models are made with Metahumans. The hair is an UE add-on called Groom, I think. Basically, this is not a game that you can get, it's just an ongoing experiment for the stream. But Mikoverse is the thing she's working on for the public. It's not yet released, but it's going to be a networked Vtubing and metaverse type application, where you'll be able to have your own character interact with other characters over the Internet in a shared virtual space, and it's built to be interactive with Twitch and stuff. She has demonstrated some of the progress on stream and it's really nifty.
