Glad to see your channel growing! What you are doing now is helping West Coast Swing grow as people are inspired to learn to dance. In addition to being a great lead, you're great as a teacher. I just enjoy it all! Bless you! Helen

I've been feeling like I've had trouble with my stretch lately, so I'm so glad you posted this! It clicked a little bit more for me.
You seem like a great teacher. Very clear instructions. :D

Dang, wish I hadn't missed this past weeks class; working on rhythm and footwork are things what I'm trying to get ahold of especially right now. I really appreciate you uploading this class recap, I hope you'll be able to do it for every wednesday class if possible.

Thank you for uploading this! I'm going to start group classes next month. I'm super nervous (as well as excited) about starting a new dance class as an adult.

@@keeriganruddWCSWill they be aimed towards people that have danced WCS before, or will they be absolute beginner friendly? I would love to learn with my husband.

It was great to hear your vòce and to hear explanations, but I felt more confused. It looks like a very difficult form of dance.

It’s attainable to learn by anybody! This class was not geared towards first-timers, so we added some more challenging elements to it.
I’ll put out some content for those just starting soon! Thanks for watching :)

Keerigan... OK... Questions... But first a comment. I joined your channel about two weeks ago when you were at 151k subscribers. Now you're at 154k, which means your channel is growing super fast. I'm guessing that many of your subscribers are like me... I'd never seen any dance before like what you do. My friend told me about swing 20 years ago, but at the time, when I looked it up, I knew I could never do what I saw back then... All flips and swinging around a guy. I am what you would call dance retarded... I would love to try tik tok dances, but I just can't move that way. I've always thought "if I could just learn the steps"... But nope.
Watching you dance though... For the first time in my life, I feel like "I can do that... I can move that way!" Some of the steps you've done, I know I've done when I've danced just for me. And watching you dance with Kristen to that strange addiction song got me excited because I am built more like Kristen than Felicia.
Having said all that... I love the lesson, but I'm still lost. I think I know what the kick and the ball are, but not the change. And I don't know what the sugar is. It would be super fantastic if at the end of each video, if you could just add a mini lesson on one of the steps and either zoom in on your feet, or hips, or hands, or whatever you think the important part was... Just one lesson on one of the six count sequences, it would help your viewers who are like me... Totally new to west coast swing and totally dying to learn. I've read the comments... You are on bucket lists now. People want to dance with YOU before they die. We want to move like you do... Because even though you don't do some of the weird tricks I've seen some leads do, you EMBODY the music as you dance. So, at the end, just one little mini lesson for the newbies... You don't even need Felicia for it (no offense to her, but we all wanna be in her shoes... So we wanna know how to mirror YOU). That's it... That's my request. If it's not too much trouble, I'm guessing it's what most of your suoerfans want...
(And just in case you're thinking I should just take classes... I'm a flight attendant. I'm never home on a regular basis. So everything I'm trying to learn about west coast swing is from RUclips. )
That's it. ❤❤❤ what you do... Can't wait to see more!
