I had the pleasure of visiting the Phippen Museum [of Western Art] a couple years ago and was lucky enough to get a tour of the facility by Neal McEwen, and I've never met a more giving/personable (and knowledgeable) individual. If you are ever in the area, you'd be making a big mistake to not stop by the museum. If you live anywhere near Prescott and don't already have an annual membership to the museum to allow you to take every person visiting you, you're missing out big-time. Every time I listen to a rendition of the poem/song, I cringe when they almost always mispronounce the Sierry Petes a the "Sire--ee Petes." Ask Neal.
