This why John is the best compared to other companies he's always willing to put up a less expensive product against a more expensive one with an honest test and recommends what's best and why regardless of the price.
Thanks John. I just received my J8006HDS from you. I had ordered the 8007 but you were out of stock, and suggested the 8006 as being the same machine. Love it, thanks so much for being such an honest man. My first use was to make a banana sorbet. From now on it will be juice. 2-12-2021
Glad I found your videos, I commented on another video that I bought the 8006, but you just informed me that the specific model numbers matter, I actually have the J8006HDS and after watching your video, feel MUCH better about the purchase. I got it for a steal at $200 brand new; if it weren’t for that unique deal, I would’ve supported your store, based on you providing all this valuable info. 👍🏽
I just bought the 8007 from you. I have a Tribest SW 2000 that I love but it is hard to clean. I stopped juicing because of the clean up time. I'm looking forward to getting the 8007 and juicing again. I've missed it and the way it made me feel. Thank you for the videos. They are a big help when deciding on what to buy.
Hi John I found someone who could finally bring me a juicer from you! I have Omega VRT but I'm juicing mostly celery for the whole family every day. Could you advise me the best juicer for celery? Is it new oméga NC1000 or MM900 or something else? I want a good yield but also being durable and easy to use! I'm doing more less 64oc every day of celery. should I put the pulp twice to get the good yield from horizontal one? I'm confused! I heard many good and many terrible opinions about omega MM900 and many bad reviews about omegas in general on amazon. You are the best expert and I trust you! I know you can give us the best advice. Thank you for your help!
Why does it clog so much when you juice? I’ve stopped using my 8007s because it clogged so much. Trying to get in contact with Omega customer service has been a nightmare. I’m not sure what to do anymore but try and buy another juicer. What is your opinion?
I want to get a masticating juicer. I have been watching your channel for a long time. I had a centrifugal juicer, but it’s seen better days. I see a lot of videos saying their masticating juicer has plastic break/or rub off into the juice. Are there any models that are all metal instead? I don’t know which brand model to buy? Thanks for the help.
Each juicer style has its own set of pros and cons. Inexpensive auger juicers can have plastic rubbing. Good ones usually dont. All auger juicers can have issues with screen breakage, IMO this is a function of how you treat the juicer. I rarely ever break screens. Some customers break them often. there are no all metal auger juicers. The closest we offer is a twin gear machine, I prefer the green star pro. I never see any rubbing and rarely see any screen breakage with twin gear machines www.discountjuicers.com/greenstarpro.html
Wow thank you for the reply!! I think I’ve known about you and your channel for 10 years now! 😃 You are truly Mr. Juice! I love watching all your videos over the years! 🙏
Hi. I need a juicer that can do everything. Including celery juice, nut milk and sorbet. Which one do you recommend? I've been watching your videos to see which one to get but there are so many and its really confusing. Please help me narrow my search . Thank you 🙏
The more a juicer can do, the less effective it may be at doing certain items. If you dont mind precutting your celery, then a vertical would be best, as they make nut milk the best, most horizontals dont make nut milk too well, but do make celery juice and sorbet. I personally would get the Nama if you can stand the smaller feed chute and short 2 yr warranty. I talk about the nama in the video ruclips.net/video/WQ9K4fyuVXI/видео.html and have more videos on it coming soon
@@discountjuicers thanks. Yea i read about the nama do you know if if does root veggies well too? Also I don't think I saw the nama on discounted juicers. Do you have the link to it ?
QUESTION: Is the agur and the juicer body interchangeably with each other, and can I get the NC1000 body, agur and screen to use on my NC 8006? Mine is wearing out. Thanks in advance
I personally would not use the NC1000 parts on other models at this point, as there has been a high level of part breakage with this specific product. . If you buy replacement parts, there will not be a warranty on them if they are used with a different model. PS. there is no model NC8006. There is a 8006 model, a J8006HDS model and a NC800 model.
My current juicer requires me to cut the celery in small pieces, otherwise the pulp gets back up the feeding tube. Do you know if this problem also exists with the Omega juicers?
Hey john i have a omega j8008c i am planning on buy a vertical style juicer tribest sw-2000 or the omega vsj843qr, can u help me pick one, i want to juice fruits
I have the NC1000 since 2019. It breaks a few times... The first breaks the black 2 parts mounting element on the motor chasing, after that the feeding tube breaks about 4 or 5 times and finally (August 2022) the motor stops working. I am not very happy with this product. Expensive and fragile. And customer service in UK told me, it is my fault feeding tube breaks, because I cut carrots along in to stripes, instead of cut carrots in to small pieces 3 cm long...
I dont have a video comparing these specific juicers to the pro/elite but this video ruclips.net/video/GwTmdJ0v0qs/видео.html compares the pro to the nc800, which works just like the nc1000 and 8007 in this episode, for the most part.
@@discountjuicers Juicing green vegetables in the Green Star looks like it would be one of the most therapeutic and satisfying things ever... Really thinking about buying one.
@@yamamancha Juicing straight greens in the green star will result in more foam being created than an auger style juicer. If juicing with other items, its generally fine and generally will produce higher yields and a more nutritious juice.

that unit is not offered in the USA that I am aware. So I will not review it. It appears to be similiar in design to the Omega TWN30, that in general, im not impressed with.

So has Omega fixed the issue of the breaking plastic parts on the NC1000 you mentioned in a previous video?
Is there much of a difference between the Omega MM 900 and the 8007 in yield? If the yield isn't much different I'd go for the 8007. Thank you.🙏

So, juicers are like cars in that it's usually wise not to jump in on the first year's production of a new model.
Depends. Some juicers are better designed from the get-go but in many instances, its better to wait.
