I'm not even getting Laphroaig 10 anywhere (Tried in Calcutta and Hyderabad). All I got was Laphroaig Select, and personally, I really loved it with some water (I used Estuary blending Single Malt water).
Ideally, this comparison should have been between Arbeg 10, Laphroaig 10 and the Lagavulin 10 (currently available). Lagavulin was set up in 1816. Laphroaig and Lagavulin brought out 200th anniversary editions, Arbeg did not.
The Ardbeg 10 is definitely top notch. I shared it with a friend recently who isn't a fan of whisky. His first reaction was "wow, it's like i'm drinking a barbecue" and I sort of agreed. My personal preference would be - Ardbeg 10 >> Laph 10 >> Talisker 10
3. Torabhaig Really interesting video, although i have yet to try these whiskies I have tried Ardmore Legacy (Lightly Peated). I really liked that so will definately try more smoky stuff.
Port charlotte isn’t as widely available and is definitely not available in India hence we wanted to compare 3 more popular ones. No point in adding Octomore to this list for similar reasons
Hi Team , Loving your work here. Can you guys also make a video about distillers in Lowlands and their flovour profiles ?
Ardbeg is the best single malt to me ! I also love Lagavulin
Talisker 10 would be my pick, very well rounded and from affordable point of view cheers 🍻
its indeed an exceptional whisky and offers great value.

Ardmore is a great entry point into peated whisky.
I guess the best option would have been laphroaig, ardbeg and port charlotte 10. Also try high ppm expressions like octomore, smoky 12 etc.
