U can't change the BVN and the video didn't say you can change your BVN. What the video said is that you can stop them from copying the contacts of your loved ones and prevent them from texting or calling.

Most likely the data on phone B. Cos you will need to give d app new access to be able to get approval for a new loan.

I don't know... They asked you to repay your loans because the steps in the video is not about how to delete the loan u borrowed... It's about your contacts. Once followed, I am not sure it's wise to reinstall the app. Everytime you reinstall and launch, you most likely give them access to your contacts again.

No you can't. Loan Apps that require pictures are the most dangerous to patronize. Although, most don't check the picture you snap before approving. Most persons snap magazines, wall etc and they still get approved. It's unfortunate you took your picture, there is nothing you can do about it. The trick is this; deny permissions and please NEVER backup your contacts on Gmail. Have a manual way to store your contacts plus your WhatsApp should be of a different phone number than the one you're using to borrow money.

First you weren't supposed to repay. Loan sharks are fraudulent and repaying will keep them in business. Secondly, why are you dying? Why are you letting defamation affect you? There are lots of reasons to stay alive. What you are owing is nothing compared to what many people are owing. You will be surprised that if they defame you, most of the persons they contacted are owing massively too. So what's the headache for? Just relax, follow the instructions on this video And hope for the best. All this would be forgotten in few weeks and you will be fine.

My question is when you register the second time, will you not be required to upload your bank and card details for the process to complete. All the ones i used had that requirement and then you are required to take a selfie and even blink your eyes or shake your head otherwise the registration process would not be complete.
U r not registering d second time... U r only login in to an account you have already used for loan. As per selfie... Prior to this time... U could just snap any image or picture and u will still get credited. Worked for sokoloan, lcredit etc. Right now, some require selfie... They will have it. The best you can do it exchange some data through the strategies explained in the video. You might be lucky, it might work for u. Deleting the app changes nothing... Sure... They will have your contacts and inshort... They would have extracted fresh data from your phone. You would have deleted all contacts and saved some generic ones before reapplying for a new loan.

My experience is that after paying off the loan I still get harassed so I deleted the app without doing all these steps in your video but they are still calling my contacts. The most shocking one is that my children's names were mentioned in the conversation I had with them recently and I have never given out their names. How did they have access to their names?
Loan Apps are routing/ hacking apps. They gave access to your pictures, text messages, contacts etc. Also, they sometimes do research on social media to get information. They might have gotten the names of your children from any of this means. Please stay calm, download Truecaller to block their calls. Stop chatting them up and move on. What's d name of the app? Also... Did u try it after due date? I have tried it with many apps and it worked. Worked for oxloan, lcredit, xcredit, etc But it's better you do it before due date because... If you wait till due date, they would have extracted your data from the software to an excel sheet. Most times, once you register... Your data stays on their software and can be swapped (only data hacked from your phone). But like I said.... If you wait till they have spooled or extracted to an external software like excel... Then forget it.
It might not work if you've been transacting with them before (esp. LCredit) maybe like some months before, coz they must have copied your information to their database already... It happened to me. LC still call my parents and boss after taking all these steps but other apps didn't
If you do it after you have defaulted and they called.... It might not work. Works mostly if you do it after taking loans. Not after you have waited for them to download your data. It's called spooling. Once you default and an agent has be assigned to your account, they will spool and download your data on excel. Once that's done, it's finished. Prior to that time, it's only on their server which refreshes when you update your data.

Till my debt qrew to over 2.7m. what I did was, stopped paying illegal loans and paid off the legal ones when it was convenient. As for, stop paying them if you can't. Let them report to whoever they want to report to. You are not alone, everyone is owing... Even Nigeria is owing so what's the big deal with your situation?. @Merndy91 i really don't know much about iphone. The video is for those using Android. There are documents online that lists the registered loan companies in Nigeria. Just find it on Google or CBN website. Alternatively, download carbon app and check your credit score. Any loan app you are owing and hasn't reported you to credit bureaus is an illegal loan app.

You don't have to be frustrated. What's the name of the app? Truth is, it won't work. They have already downloaded your data but you can do it Incase you are owing other apps. Since they have started calling your contacts, just take it as the fact that you have paid your loan and your debts are cleared cos their action is illegal. Also, now is the time to be strong... Most of d pple dey are calling are debtors too, so you are not alone. Lastly, this is the worst thing they can do and it won't last long... Block them, worry less and joke about it once anyone chats you up. I have been Defamed before too so I know how it feels. Be strong and move on with life.

Okay then, I hope your mum feels better now? If they haven't started calling.... Do it, it will work. Also, if the app is on Google play, you have nothing to fear... It's now part of the requirements on Google play that loan apps can't extract data. So to be approved, it wouldn't have those features...
