some of you guys gotta calm down about the fact that she got the piercing done at claire’s. i’ve gotten all 6 of mine (3 on each ear) done at claire’s and nothing has happened.
Same
doesnt mean its okay to pierce any body part with a gun... it cannot be fully sanatized and literally shoots through your skin leaving it kinda hanging there whilst a needle cuts a little bit of it out so u dont get bumps and it doesnt get infected when done and cared for correctly
+ the jewelry u pierce with when getting it done with a gun is so small, there’s absolutely no space for swelling so the ear can literally suck the earring inside, when u grt it pierced with a needle the piercer puts in a labret or whatever professional jewelry with enough space for healing
Same lmao Claire is good y’all chill
i just got my second & third holes done today at claires & it’s fine. my first holes i got at 7 & they’re just fine
For all the people here NEVER GET A CARTILAGE PIERCING DONE WITH A GUN, you can shatter cartilage and it takes forever to heal. Also it’s blunt forced trauma
Yuppp mine still isn’t healed
@@melinabobina9107 dang
nah mine is completely fine
I did my nose, and it’s perfectly fine
I was 2 years in and mine would still get irritated and I eventually got a bump even though that much time had passed even though it’s healed now the bump is there permanently.
If anyone sees this, do not get it done at Claire's piercing guns can seriously damage your ear ESPECIALLY on anywhere other than the lobe.
I got mine pierced w a gun, was totally find
I got 4 piercings at Claire’s with a gun and they were all fine
Guns can't be cleaned properly so you are more likely to get infections from them and if you get anywhere pierced that isn't your lobe with them then it will damage the cartilage and will probably never fully heal. I got my first lobes done at claires and on both time the back twisted, with one ear skin grew over the back and I had to go to hospital to get it removed and re pierced a few years later and the other one I couldn't get out for years and 5 years later I'm still having problems with it.
@@crystxl_clxudzz6455 Yea I guess it just depends on the person or store because I’ve never had a problem with them I hope they stop bothering you
@@user-hd5qf1og3d Piercing guns won't always cause problems, but there are many risks that can be avoided if you get it pierced by a professional piercer instead of shot. It will heal quicker and there's a smaller chance of infections and cartilage deformations like piercing bumps or cauliflower ear. Piercing guns are never sterile and cannot be made sterile.
i got my helix with a gun too and it hasnt caused me any trouble since !! i read a lot on the net on how bad guns are but tbh i got 6 of em with a gun and had no problems whatsover? but then thats just my experience. im not saying guns are better but i think it mostly depends on how prone your body is to infections and how it reacts to piercings bc my friend got it done with a needle it got badly infected. but again thats just my experience and opinion. have a good day :)
I got 6 as well with a gun
You must really like blunt forced trauma huh :)
@@pilotgaming5383 mine were the 3 lobes on each ears when I was in high school. Ouch
i got a helix piercing like a week ago and it was done w a gun too and i only felt a little pinch but the day after i didn’t even feel the piercing sometimes i forget i have it 😂 so i agree e you
I would not do it at Claire’s but it’s your ear and it looks good. Hope you the best with the healing process cause sometimes cartilage piercings can be tricky.
Is it ok if I do my second piercing at Claire’s ?
@@hluv16 I did 1 week ago and it’s okay but if you can you should get it at lovisa trust me because Claire’s could get infected
@@707mimi yes yes yes!
@@707mimi it’s hurt just a little more than the lobe and after you get it pierced it feels warm.. You cannot sleep on it at all which kind of sucks. But after like 1 or 2 months you can. Update is that it’s is completely fine after 3 months and I am lucky that I had no complications!!But it’s different for everyone :) I defo recommend it, if you decide on getting it good luck!;D (this is for helix btw)
@@hluv16 If it's a lobe piercing, there are not that many risks to using a gun. The only problem is that a gun can't be made sterile, so the risk of infection is a lot higher than when you get it pierced by a professional piercer. Getting a cartilage piercing with a gun has more risk, because the gun can cause the cartilage to shatter and it can leave you with piercing bumps or cauliflower ear.
I'm a bit scared cuz im getting my piercing right there today for my bday, but after seeing this rlly calmed me down, btw it looks really pretty on you
Glad I could help! and thanks girl! 💕
Just got mine at Claire’s. Didn’t hurt at all
Do they let you select whatever jewelry you want from the store to put in? Also how bad was the cartilage one? The new piercings look so good on you, you should do a hoop on the top one!
Yes they will have a list of earrings that you can choose for your ear! And it wasn’t that bad it’s like a really small pinch. Afterwards it starts to hurt a little like you will feel some pressure on your ear 💕
I just got my 2nd whole redone and didn’t know Claire’s did cartilage. I wanna get mine done now! It looks really nice.
awee the lady was so nice 🥺😭
Wishing u the best healing process🥰
Any bad side effects so far? Like ear infection
I have a cartilage piercing done at Claire’s in the late 90’s. It was done on my left ear. It did hurt a little bit. I gotten another cartilage piercing on that same ear in late July 2021 done by a needle. I have 12 piercings total. 6 piercings on both of my ears.
I’m getting the cartilage piercing next week at Claire’s as well. My friend got it and it looks real nice
did she say it hurt cause im getting mines in a few weeks
@@Leeanne_2 same 😬
@@nishaandlivi5199 nope! I got my done there and it didn’t hurt at all

I pierced my ears by myself nobody said this SHIT WAS GON BE SORE ASFFF😭😭
Yea I got my second holes done at Clair’s a week ago and it hurts still
@@genz190 I had my second lobe done on both sides done in Claire’s like 1 year ago and after about 15 minutes it wasn’t hurting anymore
ive had the 2nd lobe done too tbh it only kinda ached on the left ear but it didnt rlly hurt...it just feels like someones pinching your ear
How old do u have to be to go in by your self to get it done 16?
Can you move and twist yours when you first got it done ?
I’m gonna get that done soon I’m so scared what did it feel like?
It felt like a pinch honestly... however after I felt pressure from the cold weather but it’s not bad it’s just going to feel a little sore afterwards.
Got my ears done at Walmart and Claires with the gun and both ears got infected one ear closed up 2 times and I got it repierced both times. I didn't know there was other ways of piercing at the time just thought my body was allergic to everything. My next piercing will be with a needle.
Your pierced ears are amazing. From a guy with pierced earlobes and loves wearing ear studs. Why should you girls have all the fun. Lol.😝✌👍👂

Did you have a bump in the back of ur ears while healing?
I just got my cartilage pierced yesterday at Claire’s and now I’m freaking out reading all the negative things about getting it done there. I want to take it out now and just let the hole heal up. Can anyone tell me if it would be too soon to take it out and let it heal??? 😭😭
As long as you take care of it you should be fine had mines in for a year now and it’s fine 💗 but do what you feel is right.
That was meeee, I got mine on Sunday and the day after I showed it to me friend and she was like “aren’t you not supposed to do it with a gun?” And I searched it up and there was like every person in the world saying it’s the worst thing in the world 😭😀 but I think we’ll be fine.
My mom said she used to do hers herself when she was younger and she was fine. I think everything depends on aftercare :)
This is me rn lmao . Just got mine today
@@jessicawynder7658 how did yours heal ??
@@samanthajesenia9985 how is your piercing now? did it heal correctly
The only thing about piercings from there is that they use butterfly backs and in my experience they make it harder to heal
Really? Lol. I went to a piercer and they used butterfly backing too
I got mines done today !!
How much did the cartilage cost ? I want to get one
i want to get mine done so badd
do you know how much it was? i was trying to get the exact same piercings.
I just got mine done. I got the cheapest one and the cheapest soluton. My total was 35$.
@@averyjohnson8371 at Claire’s?
I paid around like $60 💕
How is it healing ?
Get both, looks even better
Hey im getting mines done next week do you have any recommendations like what I should and should not use and I also want to know did it heal very well because im also getting mines from claires
Hey I have two other videos answering these questions on my channel!!! Go check them out 💗💗
my teacher just pierced my ear and i forgot about wearing masks. i have to take off my mask carefully so i don’t hurt myself 😂
I want industrial piercings, but sadly, I’m not sure if I should do them at Claire’s because idk if it’s safe, but that’s my only option.
I don’t think Claire’s does industrial piercings but I would call and ask your local Claire’s if they do! But you would probably be better off going to a tattoo/piercing parlor honestly!
@Kiara Aleema probably! I’ve called and some only do ones over 16. I think my local Claire’s actually does all kinds of piercings, but I’ll definitely check!!
try to go to a tattoo/piercing shop to get the industrial
u shouldnt at claires like any it can shatter the skin around it so bad
And industrial at Claire’s WTF?
Me and my friend are going on friday (im getting helix/cartridge and shes getting normal) and im really nervous and scared. Half thinking about backing out but this helped a lot!
I LOVE IT! ITs quite painful however it looks amazing and i love it!!!
@@I_Wonder27 have you had any problems with it??
@@raquelberger7909 well one ear is really lopsided and they didnt exactly match up so id definitely specify that you want the piercing towards the back, but it didnt hurt nearly as much as I thought it would and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT
I pierced my ears 9 times all of them is done in just 3 month 💗
How is the piercing now did u get any bump on it or whatever r
No I didn’t get a bump on it but I will be doing a video on it and uploading it this week 🙌🏽
You need to go get surgical steel or 14 karat gold earrings . Having the proper earrings will help with your healing time . I had my Cartilage Pierced at Claire’s it took almost two year to heal . Go to a piercing place and just buy the proper earrings
Oh wow thank you for sharing this information! 💗💗
Got my cartilage at Claire’s and it swelled up so bad I needed to get a professional to repierce it with a proper bar. No problems getting my lobes pierced there but it’s only been a week so could still happen
Personally i got my cartilage done at Claire’s and it didn’t hurt. I as well got my second and third on the same day and those hurt i dont know if it was the gun because i got them pierced at a different place but yeah the healing is the worst part for my cartilage
Did you need ab adult there?
@@eylin8352 yes yes you do if your not older than 18 i think
how is it now?
do anyone knows of Claire’s do industrial piercing
I had my lobes done with a gun at Claire’s for my first piercings ever and all of them got infected…. So this really isn’t even a good idea ESPECIALLY for the cartilage… it can shatter the cartilage and that’ll be a mess
If it’s your first time getting a piercing DO NOT GET A FLOWER,OR AN EARRING WITH A CERTAIN SHAPE,that will make it more uncomfortable and you will mess with it then it will get infected.I recommend the small balls especially the stainless steel or gold(if you are repiercing gold shouldn’t hurt) they are the most comfortable and they are not that annoying.-maddy?
Stainless steel is way more likely to get infected and is less hypoallergenic
what abt like a little ring ?
I got a small ball and now I’m infected and my earring is being eaten this pain is hell
@@sweetiebooger257 did it shatter
@@abbeystewart7591 I think she meant surgical steel, those are most often used by professional piercers and are hypoallergenic.
I got my cartilage pierced with a gun and nothing is wrong with it
I'm hopefully gonna work for Lovisa (Aus claires basically) n might have to do piercings like that haha
I did my cardilage with a gun and I have no problems with it. I love my helix piercing. I got my done at the mall

Ranges from $20-$80 it just depends on what jewelry you get!! 💕💗
It looks nice
I'm getting one this week at claire's and this helped thx
I just got my cartilage piercing uesterday
You should have done both sides. Looks good
Got my ears pierced at Claire's over 15 years ago. It was a nightmare because the studs got stuck in the huge piercing gun they used to use. They healed just fine. Last year, got my ears pierced with needles and they became infected and had to be removed. So yeah. I'm not saying go to Claire's or use a piercing gun but. 😂
When they should have went to get it done for $65 at the tattoo shop
I HATE THESE COMMENTS. I’m watching videos to calm myself down but all these comments are so negative 😭. I wanna get it done at Claire’s with a gun because my mom and friend got theirs done there and they seem fine but now I’m scared again…
I don’t want it to get infected and I don’t want any damage caused from the gun
Edit: ima still do it anyway but I’m very anxious about it
But why don't you go to an actual piercer? You don't have to worry about the cartilage being damaged when you do it with a needle and it's way more sanitary!
Oof I made the same mistake once of getting it pierced with a gun at this barbershop I used to go to for for $5 😅😂 needless to say the piercing did not last me a week lol
Aw sorry to hear that! Everybody’s experience is different :))
How much did it all cost x
It costed me $80 💕💗
do they not do cartilage anymore?… just a random question.
They should!this video is not even a year old yet
@@Kiaraaleema thank you for answering because for some reason, apparently the Claires that I know doesn’t do cartilage piercing but it’s ok now anyways since I got them pierced somewhere else today!
I work at Claire’s. It depends what state you are in. I’m in Ohio and we do not but other states do. Ohio is in the mist of changing laws and Claires considering doing them every and possibly doing noses 👃
You really shouldn’t use a piercing gun on cartilage, it can cause blunt force trauma and shatter the cartilage, I was a dumb 7th grader and got it at Claire’s abd I deeply regret it, I now have a bump where the piercing is 😞 tattoo shops , who use hollow needles are much safer , and tattoo shops are held to a higher health standard so there is a lower risk of infection at a tattoo shop
Well it’s too late I already got it hopefully there’s no bump on it 🤷🏽♀️
@@Kiaraaleema how desserts
Hopefully
Use tea tree oil to help with the bump
ur completely wrong, tattoo shops are the most unsanitary places lmfao

Thanks for supporting 💕
I got mine done with a needle at a piercing place it hurt soo bad. Worse then my nose piercing lol
I got my nose done 3 weeks ago. Today I got a stacked piercing. Let me say it hurt worse than my nose.
It’s better to do it with a needle and professional than at Claire’s bc at Claire’s they use piercing guns that use brute force and most of the time it damages the nerves and more prone to infections or a piercing rejection due to it not being sanitary bc the germs of the past piercings stay there
How much was it?
Ranges from $20-$80 it just depends on the what kind of jewelry you get luv!💗

Yo mama was my teacher at Clark .
A lot of people told me they went to this place and played 99 dollars just to get this done
Mines was more on the expensive end because I got more than one piercing(a cartilage and second hole) However it didn't cost that much like I didn't spend over $80! And mines only came up to that price because I got the 14k gold earrings.
O ok
Claire's is not a piercing place. I don't understand why grown ppl are still going to Claire's. It's not safe or sanitary at all...
It is safe and sanitary or they wouldn’t be doing it at all. Get out my comments with negativity Pooh.
@@Kiaraaleema it's not negativity to educate y'all. They don't sterilize anything there
@@allytedeschi9678 I seen her sterilized the gun sanitize everything that was used while I was there. They have too because of COVID-19.
@@Kiaraaleema listen I'm not trying to argue. I'm just trying to be helpful. Wiping something with an alcohol wipe isn't sterilizing. If someone else has hiv and they bled on that, wiping it off with alcohol won't get ride of that. If u go to a piercings shop, they don't use anything twice and the needle they use was sterilized in an autoclave and thrown out after each piercing. It's much safe for your ears and for your health thay u go to a piercer for piercings. Alcohol doesn't "sterilize". I have 22 piercings. I used to get pierced at claire's too. And I was told all about it by my piercer why it's not safe and it can damage your ears. I'm genuinely trying to help you. Definitely go to a piercer. Heals faster and hurts less I promise.
@@Kiaraaleema I got my cartilage piercing at Claire’s also, in both ears and she is right tho professionals say it really bad because of the gun and they are not enough trained and you should get jewelry that has a flat because not butterfly. I gotten bumps in the piercing and I gotten another two helix piercings with a needle and they are much better and heal faster. Watch videos and they don’t recommend Claire’s. But also it does work for many people and don’t have any problems at all.
What happened to your nose piercing??
