While I like that the one shot meta is finished, I still feel that some classes got the shaft here, these classes are the assassin style classes that don't have much in terms of trading damage. For example I main Maehwa and honestly there's no possible way I can kill a Drakania or a Berserker in my same gear level now, because my full combo will at most shear half their HP and they can recover it all with a single button before I can come back to finish the job. This will probably be worse for Kunos and Tamers.
Right now I believe there needs to be some form of damage compensation for those classes, so they can at least deal close to one shots or maybe give them more defensive options to equal to the other classes and further losing class identity because every class will be able to do everything, which honestly might be the goal of PA since they never wanted to have the MMO trinity in the game, I don't know there. I just know that there are classes which due to their playstyle are pretty much useless in PVP.
In essence we went from everyone oneshots everything to everyone tanks everything and traded the OP classes from the ones with the most protection for the ones with more sustain.

@@mr.hamburger7426 nothing will change, enemy get ap too, thats mean they will be tankiness and have the same damage, while you have not the sustain abilties or protection, its a class issue, not the weapon or something
IMO pa needs to extremely nerf self heals for all classes, at the same time make hp per second actually useful.

how are you at 560ish DR with max ap build? Im using defensive crystal yet i have 540 dr as sage. Unless drak has more DR base? But isnt the DR diff too much?
Probably item and consumable difference. Drakania lost her DR self buffs. Now She can only get +10
I noticed that you use perfume of charm with musa evasion test but not with the DR test.. wouldn't the extra Special attack evasion 10% affect Drakania's damage output more? I main valk and prefer to use charm over khalk for survivability personally
We tried to stay around 750 800 850. it was possible with khalk
can you test any one vs dr but not drak its not relevant, any one like dk, musa, striker, mystic, maewha, ninja, kuno, warrior.. its not working like this, impossible to kill even 750 dr

In long fight Eva Will win, dr class (except drakania) Will probably only reduce 20-30 % of the Eva class HP

you see 282 ap vs 750 dr and hp bar didnt move even for %5, just imagine you are sicil centaur 293 and not a broken class like drakania, consider yourself good player if you can take %50 hp of enemy with 293.
and 750 dr is not a issue to reach. can maintain 309 ap with 1 cadry and 720dr to get better tankiness than 293 sicil centaur evasion and gonna have crystal freedom and good damage.

Hocam bdo serüvenin veya yayıncılığı diyim başladığı zamandan beri seni izleyip takip ediyorum ama videoda dediğin "Dr fazla olunca tek atamıyorum ama o da beni tekleyemiyor bu da win-win değil mi zaten?" kısımdan bile sadece Dr oynadığın anlaşılabiliyor. Çünkü bu durum evada zaten vardı ve mevcut gearlarla full debo giden bir drı eva ile öldürmek belirli bir ap isterken hayatta kalmandan çok daha fazla fedakarlık ediyorsun ama bu durum Dr için geçerli değil. Nasıl, şöyle anlatıyım eva da Dr gibi full debo giderse ayakta bile ölür bu o saydığın striker, mysticte de oluyor ki bunlar eva için en tank diyebileceğimiz classlar. Ama bu durum herhangi bir dr classı için geçerli değil. Evet boşuna eva oyun sonu güçleniyor demiyoruz ama *artık* sadece drla kafa kafaya gelebilecek kadar güçleniyor. Çünkü eva eksponansiyel artarken oyun bize debo gitmemiz haricinde bir şey bırakmayınca bu durum evanın alehine oluyor. Ya ayakta bile öleceksin ya da 1 2 adam kesebilirsin işte durumuna geliyor. Senden ricam eğer bu kadar eşit diyorsan biraz eva classlar oynaman. Eva setiyle tabii ki. Belki o zaman ne demek istediğimizi anlarsın.

I feel like if your testing base line dr then this is a good test but there are to many things to worry about to call this a complete test. Such as class modifications I play succession warrior and at times I feel tankier the succ valk and succ nova due to class modifiers

a patch that I expected to improve the game's pvp ended up making it more unfair than ever before, I'm completely disappointed (╥_╥)

Has it ever come to u that the devs made the changes with sovereign weapons in mind?
Have ever had a person you worked with that would show up and just throw a monkey wrench into something that was working making you have to rush around and fix everything? This is what this patch did. BDO Dev is that person! Instead of making a system that is more simple and streamlined so average Joe Shmou don't have to pull out spread sheets to figure out. They decided to make essentially another carbon copy system with the same crap we did not want. Stop making convoluted systems with hidden stats! Now we have to once again run around and find a specific meta class so we can maximize our potency whether it be EV or DR. Why can't they allow anyone to play any class? I know that is not so simple but if they put hundreds of hours into cleaning up the old crap instead of creating new crap this would have been time better spent! If not perfectly balanced at least we would be one step closer. Everyone knows which class is OP right now. They will also be OP in this new system. The ending result did not change! Just the path to the same crap has! I wish we could have our veteran players whom we follow and learn from have real input into how to fix this crap!

accuracy build destroy eavsion full ap build cant kill eavsion ,,, same as build evasion or dr you dont have damage to kill... so 850- 900 AP human damage is needed to kill someone
before this update the Q of guardiam was powerfull, but now Q don't hang almost three hits for lost shield... They ruined the class! Soo sad
my guardian no longer kills no matter how much I try and extend the combo, nothing works, they killed my guardian
You can change class or quit I guess. It's new direction and people need to adapt or quit if they are too annoyed by the changes. It is what it is
My succession warrior cant kill anymore in RBF😅, and drakania still kill me with 5 skill

DRAGON STRONK
You can't increase evasion more than before the change = Eva becomes worse.
They buffed accuracy values on items and classes = Eva becomes dead.
They are increasing DP brackets % rating = % DR gets increased.
They are increasing AP values on weapons = Flat DR gets decreased.
% DR > Flat DR
Increased AP values means less punishing to use accuracy items = Eva becomes fossil.
DR scaling and Eva scaling are not equal.
AP scaling and Accuracy scaling are not equal.
DR/AP vs Eva/Acc scaling is not balanced.
DR vs Eva classes are not balanced.
Class damage output is not balanced.
Class healing is not balanced.
Class % damage reduction mechanics are not balanced.
Therefore, Evasion gets triple nerfed. DR gets slightly buffed. AP monkeys get mega buffed. PvP Meta won't change. Siege meta won't change.
BDO is a rock, paper, scissors game on top of a rock, paper, scissors game on top of a rock, paper, scissors game. (gear stat balance vs class stat balance vs skill balance)
If you like puzzle games, BDO is great at being that.
If you like competitive skill based games, BDO is great at not being that.
even striker/mystics running dr right now because 309+ap dr>293 ap eva, in 720-750 dr you have same tankiness as 1250 1300 eva and also have offensive freedom about crystals (rbf human damage)
but you know what, don't try to tell this braindead community, i never heard once from him "ohhh cmooon pearl abyss nerf drakania, what this class, this is terrorism in bdo" babyrage as he cried about other broken classes (he always crying about sorceress, almost worst class in pvp in the meta), actually he became a meme because there is a ss roaming in internet, he said about drakania "need VERY HIGH EXPERIENCE to play her"
DR was broken before this patch, he never said it. they buffed dr, eva is useless in any scenario, now he is calling eva is balanced :)

Extremely hard cope, at best you're getting 15-20 extra AP when everybody was given 80+ free DR, either way it's no excuse for the game to feel like garbage for a few months for the "solution" to be added into the game.

Eva ve Dr videolarını izledim. Eva videosunda bir iki isabet takisiyla hasat patlamasi çok rahat oluyor ama burada full + full AP de bile karakter Dr de iyi dayanıyor. Asıl mesele bence burada. Önceki evasionda bı iki isabet takisiyla full Eva kesmen mümkün değil iken şuan bu çok daha mümkün insanlar bu yüzden evanin bitik olduğunu düşünüyor
every single person has a different class thay think is OP. and it directly corrilates to what class you play..
First I am not sure in my ~words... Second "I don`t wanna Jinx it"... But... If anything Evasion have still 1 more saving grace. Even if now missed hits are only 90% reduced in terms of dmg rather than 100% as it used to be... the CC is still not applied right?... Right? Because if it is... Evasion truly is flat out dead... I mean with DR you might be a boulder... but every hit, even the scrawniest of AP one... if it applies CC and you are not CC cap maxed at the moment... will in one way or another hinder your gameplay... While with evasion (hopefully it still is like that, because otherwise, as I've said... R.I.P. evasion worth) for as long as your luck is working... you can go trough as many as 2 ~ 3 intentional CC shots and for as long as their CC part of the skill is a miss... you get to keep your gameplay scot free of hinderance, and thus apply to the opposing side whatever it is that you are wishing to apply to it... Can maybe tell me with certainty if what I am stating is still true or not... because I am pretty sure it`s how it used to be with Evasion... Miss = 100% dmg reduction + 0 CC applied... it should now be 90% dmg reduction + 0 CC applied.
The only thing that affects CCs are resists. There is no relation between eva&dr and CCs
@@Quendya Thank you for the quick response... I actually in the meantime did some research of my own and as there was no current information. I've read what you've said as well... But... Why does this feels so wrong (at least it used to)... Me thinks the way it worked was was made only if the hit landed first... A miss by a hit, I am pretty sure ignored of that hit. It is now that I doubt it is not like that... because it is a partial hit... which truly nerfs Evasion to oblivion because it`s better CC survivability was always it`s main DR advantage. Now previously CC resist Heavy DR build are better... not CC resistant Evasion builds with resist check being made = bad to say at least. I know what the guides were saying, but you cannot convince me a "Miss" on the screen would cause no dmg but apply CC never the less... If the missed hit contained the CC portion of it... no resist check was made and no CC was applied... it in fact be like that even now... but whatever. :( And sorry if I annoy you for your quick response...
@@Butcherbg Evasion never worked against CC. Evasion has always been a part of the damage calculation side of BDO combat.
They should nerf dr a bit and add cc immunity to anything you dodge for evasion that would instantly fix the system
so in general you need +- 100ap or accuracy more than the counterpart to one combo someone now.

Accuracy needs 100- x eva for combo kil.. ex: 1300 eva x 1200 acc…. pa needs 100+ x dr for combo kill.. ex: 900 ap human dmg x 800 dr

I had expectations that the game PvP would improve and be more balanced and fair, but instead it became more unfair than ever, now I've lost almost all hope in BDO PvP
@@KitsuneOwO Why is this unfair? Some ppl grinding aos,rbf etc for hundreds of hours, some ppl grinding mobs for the same amount of time, why only pvp grinders should have benefits? Early many pvp players says just go practice in pvp, now mob grinders would say just go grind. I think it's fair enough

A 290 ap stood a chance to kill most end game geared ppl if they knew how to cc and combo. Now, impossible. Literally.

These tests just show how much more drakania needs nerfing. I’d say 90 perc of classes don’t deal anywhere near that damage, let alone to a shield class running that much dr. Only ones are valks, zerks and of course drak
The only thing broken about DR is that it’s still worthless, I’m still getting killed on arsha by draks in under 2 seconds in my full DR build at the 700 threshold
If you got 700dr and they got 800+ pvp ap ur gonna get ur shit pushed. After watching this vid it seems you need about the same Dr as they have ap. Like he said at the end gear matters now. More gear more stats more build flex + when new weaps come. Tbh the future for build diversity looks promising.

I will cry. Im a drakania main since her release but i can't even grind like other classes. Im trying so hard and my combos are close to perfect but drak's pve is so bad. Pls PA give us a pve buff :( just more pve dmg for dragon mod and more range for hexeblood mod :(

Quendya your content is always well done. Have you ever considered using a AI voice ? You see, it is very difficult for me to understand what you are saying due to accent. Your videos are always so well done that I KNOW you have a pre written script that you are reading from. Seeing that you already have a script written would it not be easy to input into a AI narration program (saving you time) and making your content much easier to watch. I often need to rewatch you videos multiple times to fully understand what you are saying, I think this would help me (and I believe others) out a lot. Thanks for all of your content and hard work. Yup its just a gear thing that she can constantly do damage while burst healing herself with assassin movements and assassin damage with tons of free ap and good dr stats. Yup its just a gear thing.

@TriggeredBicep yes but only to hp recovery outside of pots. Some classes only hp sustain is pots. Bleeds and burns along with class specific dots already nerf pots so they have to specifically make anti heal for skills that heal and not affect pots.
