I absolutely love you Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary. It's my dream to do a similar set up in Australia. For now, to start with it's me & 4 cats. Keep up the good work Furball Farm. Your my heroes.
Well to let you know I am glad that you and your husband and all of your friends have built this place for all of the Kitties who really needed your help. I only wish that you were closer to me here in Oklahoma then I could come and visit you and the kitties. I am just glad that I found you by mistake and now I can watch your videos when I need what I call a kitty fix. When I am missing my kitties who have gone to heaven I use your videos to help me feel better. This way when I need to cry my sadness away I watch your videos to help make me so much happier. So I am hoping by the end of this year that I will have my many hospital bills paid up and then I can start sending your Furball Farms some money to help with your many kitty bills. You are a blessing to all of your kitties and really a blessing to me. So I will close for now take care, and May our Lord Bless and keep you doing what needs to be done for his kitties. Sincerely Linda McCartney a lady who loves all of God's Creatures and especially his kitties.❤😊
Julie and Betsy this is been so awesome to listen to and learn more of the history of furball Farm! If I wasn't so old and my body so broken I would love to start something like this! God bless you for all you do!
Where are you located? I am interested in doing this for Shelbyville,KY. I would like to do something like this because we have so many abandoned and homeless cats in my community.
@@elizabethmchenry3102 they are located in faribault Minnesota, which is about 45 mi south of Minneapolis. Bless you for wanting to do the same thing! They certainly do need help!
I love seeing the cats, l miss my Angel, my daughter keeps her for me. She's all grey, only about 5 lbs.with green eyes and when she hears my voice she runs to the phone and meow's to me.I can't wait until I'm well enough to go home. Her name is, GizzyGirl & she's beautiful !
this melted my heart... my angel my baby "Girl" died on Jan 16th 2023... I fought hard to keep her alive... many many thousands of dollars... im still grieving beyond words... the more you love ...the harder the grieving when they are gone... she was just over 18 years old... a long hair tabby... she was by my side for almost 2 decades.....im devastated!
@@pamelahelengunchick654 honey, You will always grief for your love, heart and soul. Basically yourother half of you. I know ... I am still grieving. Been 3 years . I cried every hour for over a year. Then I cried everyday several times a day for another year. My third year without my other half. Still break down . I have to catch my self and tell myself Think of the good times and then get moving. My life will never be the same. It was distroyed by this death.Upside down! With time I know life will move forward. May your find strength my dear. I have many other animals to love. But my other half of me is missing, still.
This is the cats real activity time that we dont get to see in videos during the day and evening early evening...so fun to see them bouncing and zooming and happy!
I really enjoyed getting the background history on the heartache and heartburn that went into getting the sanctuary up and running - haters are gonna hate - but from my perspective - you rock!
Thank you for the rundown of how the rescue came to be what it is today. Maybe more people will learn from this and start opening their garages and start caring for the ferals and strays in their communities.
People need to hear that inappropriate peeing or defecating are almost always for two reasons: health issues or stress of some sort. It is never for a human type reason such as revenge or meanness like people tend to believe. Cats are creatures of habit first and foremost, something is wrong anytime a cat begins doing something out of its normal routine. At that time, it's imediately vet visit time to determine if it's a health reason. If there isn't a health issue the owner needs to take a close look at what is happening to the cat in the home. Also, owners must remember that a second immutable trait is terrotorial protection and another is instinctual survival strategies. Is the cat frightened of something, is it being bullied by another cat, another animal or frightened by loud frenetic children, is another cat encroaching on its territory, is its litter box being cleaned and deodorized regularly. If those things are addressed the behavior will cease majority of the time.
I think the sanctuary is a wonderful idea. I wish I lived close to y'all. I think I would enjoy volunteering. I live on the east of North Carolina 0I love, love, love cats. I have 4 inside cats only. I would love to sit and rub those cats. I have 1 of my 4 cats that doesn't want to use the litter box. I have 4 litter boxes but she won't use them. I now have pee pads as well trying to get her to stop pooping on the floor. I have 3 different kinds of litter. I have 1 who pees on the saw dust litter pellets. The other two are crystals and also clumping litter.
I am watching in 2023. it's almost new years eve in fact 12/28/2023. I actually used to follow you on FB, but then I started not being on FB too much. Just realized you had a youtube channel a couple months ago. I remember the old place and i always thought it looked pretty good considering it was an old garage. It was better then them being outside in the cold. Your new place is looking better and better every time I've checked in. Thank you for taking care of homeless kitties.
Your story is so impressive and the courage, determination, faith and love you show are admirable and inspiring. I hope someone in Hollywood or New York or elsewhere has the idea of producing a movie about your story and these amazing survivor cats you have saved because it’s so beautiful ! The battles you had to fight together with the generous loyal volunteers are definitely worth a book, a documentary, a movie ! Really really. Wishing you best of luck and continuous success with Furball Cat Sanctuary 🍀😻💞
Many times a Cat urinating other than in litter box, they have Bladder Infection or Urine track. Not all, but many. I rescue cats and its been the case here. One that just wouldn't stop peeing, mainly on the Stovetop, I had to put outside with a cat Colony, I feed. He's doing good. I see him daily !
You should sell merchandise on this channel. Just add a link. I want a shirt or sweatshirt. Thank you for making us aware about the stray situation. I took in a ferral cat and it took along time for her to be relaxed around us. Took in another cat and realized it had a urinary problem. Vet visit fixed it up. Your sanctuary is wonderful.
Love to hear your story! I hope you do this every year. Tell us and all new watchers how Furball came to be. Have the people who worked with you sit in on your talk to get their perspective. It's fascinating to watchers!!! I was part of the start of a volunteer group, and though we disbanded a few years ago, it's so fun for us AND for new friends who were not involved back then. And that's who you have in all the watchers of your various channels... we have emotional stock in your adventures!
