The start of it all, what I wouldn’t give for a remaster. I always wanted a console port, but nevertheless I enjoyed beating Hitman Codename 47 and every other game this series has to offer. This is a true hardcore gem and I love it man, the first 4 soundtracks were also sensational.
I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t played the game just due to it being dated (just being honest). But I love 47 in this game he’s normally a rad dude but he seems the most human here.
My God! The voice acting in this game is superbly good and well written. And The delivery, my goodness, it's so hilariously good and realistic. I could listen to their soothing voice all day
I saw this specific cutscene for the first time while watching the Cvit Hitman retrospective; I was so convinced that it was something he added in, but no, IT’S ACTUALLY IN THE GAME
Watching this made me realize that i skipped wayyy to many advantages of the Hong assassination quest. I always ran away after talking to bartender, and killed first a guard, then a Red Dragon Guard. I didn't know I could freely pass through doors just with a pass. Fuck me
Why does everyone assume that the Triads are bad guys? Obviously the Blue Lotus Triads are car salesmen and the Red Dragon Triads own a restaurant franchise.
I'm a console gamer so I could never play the first Hitman but now I finaly bought it. Unfortunately it's a bit difficult for me to play on my small netbook so I just watched the story here. Thx for uploading!
oh yeah about that, The first one is available for download if you have a pc but its not available for Console, I am a PC Gamer, when it comes to shooter games...Hitman was easily one of my favorite games alongside Max Payne, since it was something I wanted to play ever since I was a kid, This version of the game is better off on Android now. I am not impressed by this.

hitman has always been my favorite game series first one i played was hitman 2 silent assassin when i was 14 then contracts then ofcourse bloodmoney and when i heard they were making absolution i nearly shit myself with excitment. i still play contracts and absolution more than any game i have. i never got a chance to play codename47 but now i know the story thanks man!
Like X-Wing compared to TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance, this game, though easily surpassed by its sequels, still is one essential must-play for newcomers and afficionados of its respective series. Shame it's a PC exclusive. Console players really missed out on knowing 47's origins.
Never had the chance to play Absolution. Bought the strategy guide for it though. However I have all the other original games, 47 to Blood Money and all the guides. Anyone also read the novel... Not the movie tie in, it was a standalone.

Ort-Meyer, the final target and one of the donors and the geneticist that created 47, hires 47 anonymously to eliminate each of the 4 other targets to keep his research and clone army to himself.

The comic gave so much more context to the plot holes in the story. It was a good read.
