I'm loving dad's enjoyment, it is the most happiest I've have ever seen him, it just goes to show how starved we have been, regarding the true meanings of the the lyrical content, and what hip hop was built on, bring the culture back to life again, it must be true when they say , you don't what you've got til it's gone dad like me has become the young fun loving 20 year old , that is proud of his roots, through the story telling, I'm an Irish republican girl, and just like you , 1 become so nostalgic and I become one with the beat and 1 with the song and the lyrical story telling that all Irish have in our DNA, sure didn't wait Disney himself come to live in Ireland the land of poets and rebels, it's widely known that he lived in an old irish castle beside a magical lake, that was known to the irish as a gateway to heaven, many rcei ved inspiration all around that lake, this is were walt disney himself became inspired enough to write all the greats of disney, e.g snow white, cinderella, darby o gill and the little people, ireland being known also for fairies, so dad i completely feel you when you hear your native music, and like me you become what you were meant to be, its my heritage, to sing old irish ballads which told the story of our struggles, and real or hip hop is your heritage, that is why your soul came alive, because like us irish they outlawed our traditional irish music and dance in the same way they tried to outlaw hip hop, so more of that beautiful energy that took with me right back to the 90s in northern Ireland when it was instilled in us to fight a d stand up for ourselves, irish, just like the black ,other minorities in ghettos across the world, we were hard, back then you were allowed to kick the crap out of anyone who crossed you, whereas now you can be jailed for kicking a can down the road, do what brings the mist joy to your soul, and never forget who you are and what you are destined to be, and think for the first time we have got to meet the real you because if the smile, that filled your whole being with excitement, music in my opinion is the language of heaven because no matter what race, creed or class, our music is what unites all regardless of the genre, ok sorry I got a bit carried way they, history lesson over for today!! 🤗🤣🙄☘☘☘☘🇨🇮🇨🇮xo
