Angled or straight. Angled does allow you to get tighter into a corner but it depends what you are fixing. Straight guns can use shorter nails than an angled gun. 19mm vs 32mm minimum nail length

Would a 16ga Brad nailer work okay with installing wall paneling?

@homeimprovements is there maybe a similar tool that I could use for this job? I don't know a lot about it and just looking for a little guidance on best possible tools for getting the job done, while also on a budget... it doesnt need to be best of the best and top notch, just a relatively cheap tool for a DIY Homeowner. Since I've got a ton of trim work throughout the house after hanging the new paneling, I was hoping to find a tool that could serve as a multipurpose tool for both

You loaded the 18g pin gun wrong. The chisel tip of the pins goes to the front of the magazine. If your going to review at least read the manual and make sure your are telling people the correct way to load. If doing your method into mdf the pins fly back into the magazine tray 😂. Been there done it got the medal

Maybe not use the biggest/heaviest battery from Dewalt and use a smaller battery for a lighter gun?

18 in our opinion as an all rounder 😁

2ah batterie would be enough for this gun and should reduce the weight massive.

I’m not agreeing with your verdicts. 18 gauge has more range of lengths brads, 15mm to 54mm.
16 gauge is more precise in tight corners, yes, but the smaller nails handled start at 32mm to 63mm! Not ideal in a one gun show scenario!
