I'm impressed with the amount of good perfs red mages have, especially red mage fliers, this actually makes my decision on who to rearm much easier, especially since I won't be using special spiral 4 for cavs/fliers. Also, nice background you gave to S!Mercedes as we all know you are "huge huge huge Mercedes fan."

I love your separation of f2p and premium/seasonal tier list of this arcane weapon. It really helps a lot when it would be possible release of the rest of arcane weapons that are missing(bow, dagger, d rest of tomes, etc.)
I've got three Ophelias. Maybe I'll use one just for the skills. If IS never changes the 4 skill point inheritance limit I actually see more value in that compared to the weapon.

Gave arcane eclipse to my OG Lilina and oh boy was it worth it. She just got so much better by getting slaying and quickened pulse on the weapon. All those dragonflowers I’ve put into her were well worth it
Arcane Eclipse is also good on Dorothea on AR-D if you run her in Dark Season alongside Yune. Since Yune's Chaos Named is pretty much a way better version of Dorothea's tome, you can change that.
My highest merged red tome unit is Summer Leo (long story) and so I joked I'd give him a red arcane tome I didn't get Ophelia from my tickets, so I'm safe still lol

Though, for what it’s worth, armour units actually can run Special Spiral to at least some effect - it’s a little unconventional, but if you’re already foddering the weapon, might as well. Certainly makes a Henriette/Winter Tharja far more able to bait and kill a unit like Legendary Claude, for instance.
Thanks mate, I was waiting anxiously for your video, because I had no idea who to give Ophelia's weapon to (plus some other fodder material). My first choice was B!Cecilia, but I've already invested a lot in her, plus she cannot use Special Spiral, nor Times Pulse. Now that I saw your video, I'm convinced that I'll give it to Sanaki. I always thought her weapon refine was so lackluster, and now she finally has a purpose. I only use 2x red tome heroes: Aversa and B!Cecilia, but I was still missing a good red tome infantry. Now I have two, because Ophelia is amazing as well.
Unfortunately, inheriting this tome to cavaliers and fliers comes at a very steep cost of no Special Spiral 4, and that ain't fun. It's also not fun that we still don't have finish 3 skills on lower rarity units yet.
I managed to get a Rearmed Ophelia with one of those coupons (-atk of course). I have a forma Erk with Luminous Grace that's already pretty fun so I might build up Salem with the Arcane weapon. He has great hair! 😂
I was able to get Ophelia and Matoi before sparking (: I sparked Matoi because she was +res/-atk, and then I pulled another Matoi like 10 summons later, then an Odin in the next circle 👀👀👀 Then Ophelia came back in the one after that. Coincidence? Hmmm... But I was almost regretting sparking Matoi until I got my 2nd Ophelia. The first copy was +atk/-spd, and I wanted to ascend one of those stats, because she really needs both, especially speed. But it's not really worth it if it's just to get rid of a bane. Then I literally got the opposite IVs on the 2nd one, with +spd/-atk 😂 Good thing it doesn't matter because after inheriting the skills, you just merge anyways lmao. I know this sounds crazy, but I'm giving Special Spiral 4 & Time's Pulse 3 to OG Ophelia. The thing is, almost all of my inf. red mages, that I actually use and like, have good Prfs already. Nyx, like they showed in the Feh channel or trailer, whom I would not even consider. She already has Time's Pulse, and NF-U is better on her imo to increase tankiness since she's got Dmg. Reduc. I'm definitely giving the weapon to Scion Julia and Winter Tharja tho. I just need one more merge on R!Ophelia. Which I'm going to try to do before the banner ends. Frankly, I don't see this banner winning any twitter polls. Unless the appeal for Ophelia and Matoi are high enough, mostly in Japan probably because of chuunibyo lol. They could sway it I suppose. But I'm still just gonna summon now. I still haven't collected any of the Forging Bonds tickets, on purpose. I'm gonna get one at a time and use them to snipe reds after pulling a full circle.

I'm glad for Ophelia, easily one of my favorite characters! I got three, so I'm just gonna use one for my Celica (+8), it's just too bad we don't have atk/res finish 3 to inherit her full kit, so she's keeping her Fury 4. The other two Ophelias are going to be saved for a future red mage (specially if it's Lute, L'Arachel or Morgan).
I'm thinking about giving this tome to my Resplendent Celica, who has been on my ace team for the longest time, even past the point of Legendary Azura. Though I'm going to need to give up the Fury + Desperation combo since the arcane tome has that >25% HP stipulation. I swear most weapons have that nowadays because of Fury + Desperation and WoM.

Thanks for your analysis PM1. I am not too interested in most of the potential AE infantry users, but I was lucky to get one Rearmed Ophelia. I do like Kiria, so I might just let Kiria inherit AE and SS4 while waiting for her refine. Otherwise, I am very impressed with Sophia's bulk. She would be my second choice if I am up for it.
Really happy that I can put this on my Hugh. His superboon in attack is definitely a nice plus now. His old weapon was fun when I built around him, but having to run null follow up or a lot of buffers with him was annoying. Glad this gives him a more viable kit. Also, Special Spiral 4 is a fantastic addition to mages, especially since I wouldn't have to fodder Tormod if he came to FEH with flare.

I've been waiting so long to bring my Sanaki off the bench, i'll be sad to part with Cymbeline's "dropping a literal sun of the foe" animation but i'm just glad i cna justify deploying her again. If i get a 2nd ophelia I am really considering Nyx too, her prf is real good but i was already running her with a special spam build and they two weapons do fill very different roles.
I feel like Liliana or Miranda are the best choices for most f2p people just because they are good units that can be 10+ easily and in need of a good weapon.

Hi, I used Arcane Eclipse for Plumeria and she is doing great with it. Her PRF is really only good if she is providing support but the guaranteed follow-up makes it even better. I definitely don't discount the possibility that Plumeria is going to get a refine soon, so I realise it may be only a temporary measure.
Yeah her dance isn't quite top tier like Peony's but still pretty nice for the debuffs and such but can absolutely work more as an offensive unit if you want to dance less.
So I _can_ give Arcane Eclipse to Celica. Hmm…I do find the fact that her refine damages her after battle annoying, so…I'm a LITTLE mixed between giving Arcane Eclipse to Celica. And yes, I just got another Rearmed Ophelia copy. Somehow. UPDATE: I managed to copy the Celica + Arcane Eclipse build you recommended. Minus the merges, because she's +1. LOL
What's funny is I have a +10 Sanaki as a F2P player which is insane, had her as many many pity breaks back in the day and then I've gotten like 4 of her as free summons, something like that, might build her up now.
Building Lyon with it so he has the dual phase followup he deserves. Not quite the standard build for this weapon (which is AoE SS4 offence) but an astra ranged bait unit with now some player phase cleanup on top of that.

Lilina is a ton of fun with this weapon.
I use her in Arena, and her nuking capabilities in that mode have improved massively.

Dancer Sigurd can actually check Ninja Camilla with his prf. Tome in AR. So there is a trade off.

I'm definitely giving the weapon to Scion Julia and Winter Tharja tho. I just need one more merge on R!Ophelia. Which I'm going to try to do before the banner ends. Frankly, I don't see this banner winning any twitter polls. Unless the appeal for Ophelia and Matoi are high enough, mostly in Japan probably because of chuunibyo lol. They could sway it I suppose. But I'm still just gonna summon now. I still haven't collected any of the Forging Bonds tickets, on purpose. I'm gonna get one at a time and use them to snipe reds after pulling a full circle.
I'll be hanging onto Ophelia until we get a F2P source of Atk/Res Finish 3, then I can fodder that, Special Spiral 4 and the weapon simultaneously.

Thanks for the video. I had some extra fodder lying around so I basically gave Ophelia's entire kit to my Sanaki and she's wrecking units in arena like nothing. The Empress is back!
I'm glad for Ophelia, easily one of my favorite characters! I got three, so I'm just gonna use one for my Celica (+8), it's just too bad we don't have atk/res finish 3 to inherit her full kit, so she's keeping her Fury 4. The other two Ophelias are going to be saved for a future red mage (specially if it's Lute, L'Arachel or Morgan).
I'm thinking about giving this tome to my Resplendent Celica, who has been on my ace team for the longest time, even past the point of Legendary Azura. Though I'm going to need to give up the Fury + Desperation combo since the arcane tome has that >25% HP stipulation. I swear most weapons have that nowadays because of Fury + Desperation and WoM.
With these arcane weapons coming with tier 4 skills, we're beginning to need 5 skill inherits at once more and more

Thanks for your analysis PM1. I am not too interested in most of the potential AE infantry users, but I was lucky to get one Rearmed Ophelia. I do like Kiria, so I might just let Kiria inherit AE and SS4 while waiting for her refine. Otherwise, I am very impressed with Sophia's bulk. She would be my second choice if I am up for it.

Really happy that I can put this on my Hugh. His superboon in attack is definitely a nice plus now. His old weapon was fun when I built around him, but having to run null follow up or a lot of buffers with him was annoying. Glad this gives him a more viable kit. Also, Special Spiral 4 is a fantastic addition to mages, especially since I wouldn't have to fodder Tormod if he came to FEH with flare.

I've been waiting so long to bring my Sanaki off the bench, i'll be sad to part with Cymbeline's "dropping a literal sun of the foe" animation but i'm just glad i cna justify deploying her again.
If i get a 2nd ophelia I am really considering Nyx too, her prf is real good but i was already running her with a special spam build and they two weapons do fill very different roles.
I feel like Liliana or Miranda are the best choices for most f2p people just because they are good units that can be 10+ easily and in need of a good weapon.
I gave special spiral 4 and arcane eclipse to my mid merged nyx and she’s such an amazing nuke now😭
Whats best to do for Henry sorry? Hes really the only red mage on this list I want to give it to and make him use some sort of Special Spiral build?

Hi, I used Arcane Eclipse for Plumeria and she is doing great with it. Her PRF is really only good if she is providing support but the guaranteed follow-up makes it even better. I definitely don't discount the possibility that Plumeria is going to get a refine soon, so I realise it may be only a temporary measure.
Yeah her dance isn't quite top tier like Peony's but still pretty nice for the debuffs and such but can absolutely work more as an offensive unit if you want to dance less.
So I _can_ give Arcane Eclipse to Celica.
Hmm…I do find the fact that her refine damages her after battle annoying, so…I'm a LITTLE mixed between giving Arcane Eclipse to Celica.
And yes, I just got another Rearmed Ophelia copy. Somehow.
UPDATE: I managed to copy the Celica + Arcane Eclipse build you recommended. Minus the merges, because she's +1. LOL
What's funny is I have a +10 Sanaki as a F2P player which is insane, had her as many many pity breaks back in the day and then I've gotten like 4 of her as free summons, something like that, might build her up now.
Building Lyon with it so he has the dual phase followup he deserves.
Not quite the standard build for this weapon (which is AoE SS4 offence) but an astra ranged bait unit with now some player phase cleanup on top of that.
