Israel Abanikanda: Hearing he is a cut candidate, but like you, I loved his profile. He's still a hold for a little while to see if he lands in a better situation. Having said that, a lot of fantasy managers fail to listen to what the NFL is telling us about a player. We don't pay enough attention, and Izzy may just be another DeWayne McBride and end up on the practice squad. At that point you have to just cut him from your fantasy roster.
Just a random thought on situation … but can real life bad situation result in fantasy gold ? The two guys that scare me this year are breece hall and tre McBride. Both the jets and cards were a mess offensively last year with limited talent on that side of the ball . Both of those players excelled at huge check down underneath ppr proped up high target share at the end of the year when those teams didn’t have much else to do . Could both is those offenses being better hurt their respective target shares and hence create less volume ? One example from the past I can think of is Atlanta pitts rookie year …. Ridley went down and the falcons didn’t have much else on offense with a short armed Matt Ryan at qb making their offensive game plan check down slants to pitts … after Ryan left pitts has not done anything
It's possible, but all of those guys weren't just catching a bunch of check downs. They actually had big downfield roles (Pitts/McBride), and Breece was hitting big plays frequently.
Snatched Lamar Jackson and cj stroud back to back almost. Poor guy picking after me had Collins and tank Dell in his line too hahaha haha I'm pureeee genius 😂
Dk drafter here. Love the show. On downs.. sure price is reasonable but is he not a slot guy? Ive seen alec pierce going undrafted. I have a lot of shares with my last pick, showed chemistry when richardson when healthy. AD Mitchell threatens that role but the price is free. Seems like an ideal guy for a ceiling week here and there.
@@SpikeWeek with Richardson felt he was alright I'd have to go back and look. But Pittman wasn't Pittman until minshew came in. This seems like a deep shot taking team with shane. He's only the 4th option if AD beats him out for that spot. With a last pick. He's a guy that can give you a couple weeks where he has 3 for 110 and 2tds. In my opinion compared to what's around him in the final roster spot, he's that high upside zero floor kinda guy I want to take a shot on
Lions also play alllll the dome games. I think Montgomery is a great contingent value AND standalone value (flexing my things I've learned on spike week channel muscles)
@@SpikeWeek Nick Chubb? You mean the Cleveland RB who tore his knee to shreds last year and now finds himself entering into his age 29 season with huge mileage (1,238 career carries) on that body already and a flimsy contract for 1 year entirely based on goal achieving incentives? That's how much faith the Browns have in his imminent return to form. I mean, you'd have to be a moron to see any blue sky here and I obviously don't think you are or I wouldn't watch your pods in the first place. Just an embarrassingly bad take on your part. Maybe you love Chubb too much to admit what everyone else can plainly see. D'onta Foreman? In the immortal words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!!" Foreman in 2023 had 425 yds rushing, good for 4 td's in Chicago. He had 15 recs for 77 yds and 1 touchdown. Whereas Ford had 830 yds rushing, good for 4 td's and he had 48 recs for 354 yds and 5 td's. 2023 results are so completely one sided in Ford's favor I'm convinced you didn't even bother to look at it before you posted this! I know it all comes down to a matter of opinion but you can do better than this fellas!

Jameson Williams may be the WR 2 for his team, but he's the 4th best target on the team. The steam for him is frankly ridiculous and he is a wasted pick.
Wouldn’t go quite that far. Players can still be overpriced and not a wasted pick, but no push back on the overall sentiment (as you probably heard in our convo)

Henry or Kamara? Full ppr, redraft & Mahomes or Josh Allen? 6 pt pass td
We have Henry & Allen ranked higher on those. But do prefer Kamara/Mahomes at cost better.
Seahawks did not "bring back" Lockett. He was under contract already, they reworked the deal to create cap space.
Right. And they could have cut him. But agreed the wording could have been better
