Everybody is talking about freestyle, but can we just take a moment to appreciate racing? This was the best racing competition we’ve ever had for world finals. Everybody was fast, the lanes were even, and we got so many upsets in the bracket. And the championship race was easily one of the best ever. W racing competition.
This was one of the five world finals I’ve been to, and it was probably the worst, racing was the most intense event outside of Armando Castro‘s skills, and Ryan and Tyler’s freestyle I give this event a five out of ten also they should have the world finals “stunt” at the end of the show like it was in Vegas, but all the encores weren’t really good in the past 4 or 5 years anyway, monster jam is just not the same anymore. I’m 16 and I feel like i’m already to old for monster jam I get it’s a family event but the main appeal is for little kids now.

Freestyle track felt like a glorified arena rather than a World Finals-caliber stadium track. I don’t know if Sofi is uniquely small or what but this year’s event was just simply not exciting enough. Despite that there were some great individual performances! Also waiting over an hour between racing and freestyle was a total buzzkill, can’t imagine what it felt like for people actually in the stadium!
Myself, my wife and children were there at the stadium... YES there were some downfalls but man that DJ really worked up a storm! We really enjoyed our time. As adults we have our complaints but we keep admitting that it was ALL worth it!
The DJ kept us from being bored, and your kinda right about the track feeling like a glorified arena 😅. It was pretty small compared to Sam Boy Stadium.
Good hype and ambiance, but as far as the freestyle goes, wow, probally the most tame and boring worldfinals ive witnessed. You need to to back to sam boyd stadium for the world finals. Supercross is going back, cmon disney on ice.
Ever since they got rid of the commentator they had in the early 2000s monster jam has gone down hill all the new commentators are bland and boring-they need to find some people that don’t babble on about nothing while sounding monotone and forced….
The Racing is really awesome seeing a side by side s style track and a world finals rookie in zack garner win in Wild Side so awesome And freestyle it's really amazing and awesome with a lot of big backflips and saves on this very wicked track and tyler had a amazing run to win in grave digger And i can't wait for next year's world finals in salt Lake city utah and i hope that Max-D will compete in monster jam next with blake Granger and some new drivers And hopefully the brand new sparkle smash truck could compete with a few of the marvel trucks
Dude watching Zack Garner win that championship and all the emotions from Jamey, and everybody else almost had me in tears not joking!! I was pulling for Tristan but man, I could NOT be more happy for Zack!!!
And what did I say. Now gotta predict the champion . I'd say....... With all the pressure of everyone. I'll give the young kid a shot and say he's gonna take it. Wild side
I miss the old aura of monsterjam. It was badass. Now it just feels like I’m at a circus or a little girls birthday party. I feel like monsterjam could be big again if it tried to appeal to people over the age of 10-11. Especially if events were streamed like this with decent commentators. Like former drivers for example.

Freestyle track wasn’t the best because racing was literally a few hours ago but I do agree they need to add 2015-2016 jumps I swear trucks use to fly higher!!!!
World Finals 23 was good because of racing and skills, freestyle and high jump where ryan got robbed twice. For the overall rating for this world finals, it is a 5/10 for me. Sparkle smash encore didn’t set the mood for me but the fortnite encore was action packed like charlie went wild in that truck fr.
No not at all about high jump and freestyle, high jump obviously Colt had the highest out of everyone, you can compare him between everyone and he’s still the highest, and freestyle had a great moment from Ryan but he did not fulfill the full 2 minutes Tyler did and he deservingly won freestyle because he had everything he needed for a winning run

@@miketrapper0464 yeah, freestyle was chaotic because Jim almost recreated the crash from world finals 7 in freestyle which was crazy, and lots of crazy crashes happened during the year. But let’s see which summer show is first for the return of as big as it gets.
This race course is interesting, but I absolutely hate how monster jam keeps taking the speed element out of these events. Too many obstacles in the middle. Trucks cant get the air they used to be able to get cause then they'd land on an obstacle and crash. Too many of the same trucks at the WF now which takes away from the uniqueness of the competition. And Im just gonna say it. Monster Jam was better when they still used crush cars and other obstacles like RV'S, boats etc. Now it's just mounds of dirt. I miss the Dennis Anderson days.
The racing is good one thing I don't like is I want a truck rolls over they shut the other truck down and also when a truck breaks down and can't make the run the other truck sitting in the rain doesn't have to make it by run and I don't necessarily like that because it's basically just giving them the win. That kind of takes the sporting part out of it. In Drag Racing if one car can't make it to the line and the other car is going to make a long run or another car is going to come up and take his place. That's how it should be. Either make the track is great the racing is good but I don't like the fact they're shutting the truck down just because one rolls over.

Not true about the waiting for halftime at all, they had the stunt and the dj they had over there kept the crowd awake and excited

Sam Boyd is closed, nothing is going back there, and it was not at all tame it just killed nearly everyone’s trucks

worst freestyle in recent memory. track was horrible and the officials were trigger happy with turning the trucks off
It's not the worst WF freestyle, but it was lacking compared to recent WF's
