Thank you! I think what it is, people like clowns. And I'm not really a clown. I think people like to watch RUclips videos with characters who act up and act stupid. And I don't really do that. This is how I am in real life, pretty calm and even keeled.

I know we have some Montepulciano D'Abruzzo lovers in the audience. What are your thoughts on this underrated grape?

Haven't tried it yet. I need to find a retailer who carries good wine 🍷 so I guess I'm going to have to take a trip to Nashville. We live in the country, and I will not purchase it from a convenient store that has liquor. I used to buy from Martha Stewart online site which no longer exists. Any thoughts?

@@anns8893 my first suggestion is my partners at wtso.com, their selection is revolving so you'd have to check the current wines to see what's on offer. If they don't have anything, wine.com is pretty reliable and has dependable delivery.

I do like Montepulciano. It's one of my favorites. I didn't know about the two different styles, though. I'll have to try them side by side sometime.

@@danmuchnok the best indication is price point; usually the more expensive ones are the oak-aged with a more modern style. Thanks so much for watching/commenting as always!

I am new to wine and I just tried my frist bottle of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo today. It is one of my favorities and goes well with many of the foods I enjoy eating. The wine I drank was of the traditional style, very lively and fruit forward but complex with notes of spice and vanilla, almost toasty. Reminded me a lot of Riojas, another one of my favorities. Going to be something I drink often.

Thanks for sharing this information. What wine do most Italians drink daily in Italy 🇮🇹? Thanks ✌️

It's regional, but if I had to name a few, I'd say Trebbiano, Vermentino and Chianti. The first two are "everyday" whites that can be found around the entire country. And of course, Chianti is one of the most popular reds in the world. Despite from having so many wonderful wines, most Italians are like most Americans, they just want a good value. Cheers!

I also find Montepulcianos from Abruzzo can give off black olive flavours. After tasting these I found that there are olives farms in Abruzzo

You can find olive trees everywhere in Italy! I remember being in Piedmont and making the mistake of picking a raw olive off the trees and trying to eat it. It was so bitter it actually burned my tongue 😜. But yes they theorize that pollinators can sometimes bring flavors across from other plants. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
