Yea! I'm so glad I did it anyway :D I'm thinking I'm just gonna share everything I find useful because if just one person finds it helpful then it was totally worth the time :) Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I would like to suggest if you use Tack it over for the cutting mats, you should dilute it 1 part water to 1 part take it over. It's too strong and sometimes destroys the paper. I so like a little container with a sealing lid and then lightly brush on with a sponge brush. If you do it as a light coat it's like a brand new mat. I make sure that I use a scraper that you get at the hardware store to thoroughly take off all the old adhesive and paper lint. Scrub it good. you can store your mixture and wash your brush to keep and reuse. This is the best product.
Extra little tip here: I save the sticker backs from my Priority Mail labels and use those now, especially for the larger ones. One to make the dots on and one to cover them up once they're dry :) Thanks so much for watching!! Cristi
Would these work to stick to card and then attach a small wooden makeup applicator? I would want the applicator to be able to come off obviously and the card not rip. The applicator would no need to restick but it would be cool if it did!. Thank you
What a fun idea...thank you so much for sharing... Since you are using repositional glue ~~ is the bond also repositional or is it a permanent bond... Have a fun spring evening... Surie
Hi Surie, thanks for watching! I'm not sure but it does stick REALLY well so if you were to try to re-position it may be a tricky thing to do :D I'm thinking it would be closer to permanent. Hope this helps.
Hi again... Thank you so much for getting back to me on this...yes ~~ I want a permanent bond so this may be worth trying... Glue dots are so expensive... Thank you again so much... Have a fun summer weekend... Surie
I have not seen this but duh... I make bling dots out of stickles or glitter glue by squeezing dots on my mat and waiting to dry. Why I didn't think of this. TFS....dee
