Thanks for showing the versatile ideas for lighting with this. I just bought one and awaiting delivery. I'll see how it goes then may consider a 2nd unit if it fully works for me. I'm a little concerned about fan noise from other reviews, but guess if carefully locating controller box and using directional mikes it won't be a major problem. Also easy enough to clean up constant noise via good software (Fairlight within DaVinci). I also heard it's relatively easy to open up the box and switch out the fan for something quieter like a Noctura (super quiet fans from renowned Austrian manufacturer - I really rate Noctura and use them in all my computer builds).
Hi! Can battery and power source (from the wall) be plugged at the same time? Will it automatically switch to the battery when power source is plugged out? Will the power source charge the battery or do I need external charger? (I am new to all this :D )
hey great question! yes it will automatically switch to power from the wall over the attached v mount battery! unfortunately it will not charge your v mount when plugged into the wall, you will need an external v mount charger for that!
strange. you may have gotten a bad model, we have never heard the fan noise from both our F22’s! We will sometimes even have this light literally right above or in line with our boom mic for interviews & never hear it!

Fan noise is really high, i just got mine and i´m not sure if i will keep it...
