Definitely a great jam but since you're ending on that bIII major chord it brings more of an E major feel, starting on the 6 minor. regardless though lots of fun to play on :) thank you!!

I think it's based on Sow dancing in a burning room. However, it's so cool to play around with the licks from that song and turn it to your own creation! Love this track man, thanks!
Hi there, It you want to break out of the usual shapes trying playing the pentatonic shape for each chord, for instance when you go to G#m play the G#m pentatonic and then for the a chord the A major pentatonic and so on! hope this helps -Cam
I'm a John Mayer fanatic and this is pure gold. Been jamming over it non-stop. Subbed.
Thanks dude! So glad you like it, and thank you for the sub :)
@@yga Absolutely! Thank you, my friend - God bless you!
One of the best backing tracks I've come across, keep it up!
Thanks Pontus!!
Another winner!
Thanks Gary!

i hear a really slowed down version of waiting on the world to change.
Any got any tips for soloing to this beyond playing up and down C#min/E maj pentatonic or any specific licks?

learn all the Cm arpeggios around the neck. Could also learn the arpeggios for each chord. It's hard but you'll sound a lot better.
Very nice. Thanks
No worries!! :)
The best!
Excellent mec
Love love love love crazy love. Van the man. Try the melody. it's ace.

Don't know Mayer stuff at all and I thought of Van straight away as well. Cheers.
This is great stuff
Thanks Jeff, glad you're enjoying it!
The tutorial keeps buffering. I'll have to check it out later. thanks, man.
After playing a while I ended up using Emaj too :) But was great anyway!
That Outro riff sounds promising too, is there more of it any where?
thanks!
Unfortunately not there's just this one for now!
Love it!! New ideas come pouring out. Thanks
Great to hear! Keep jamming away :)
I'd argue this is more of an e major backing track, but I'm not complaining!
Same thing. It's the relative minor.
@@paulspector8220 I realize this, but it doesn't change that e major is the tonal center
Felt more like E Major to me, but still great!
Yep, I guess the two major chords in it do give it a slightly major vibe! Do as your ear tells you to do Casady! :)
I got Say it aint so vibes
