Suga may look less affectionate but I think he is just less expressive because he loves all the members. As what he said before in past interviews, next to his family BTS members are the second closest to his heart. He is just not the showy or the "wordy" type of man but he does it through his actions. See he's not really into fishing but since his roommate Jin loves it he would go with him. Then he loves to cook for all the members and just by watching then eat happy makes him full.
That's why ARMY 💜 always says JUNGKOOK is YOONGI's weakness.
And if you look carefully they have similar tastes in clothing, they play the same instruments, JK, he was the only one who had the key to YOONGI's studio and they are very close, on one occasion they talked about setting up a business together something like a meat restaurant of lamb.
YOONGI trusts JUNGKOOK's talent so much that he didn't need to review the file of the song STAY ALIVE, PRODUCED BY SUGA, sent by JK, when SUGA was still in the USA and JK, in Seoul.

awwww their relationship is so wholesome...not many people talk about the Yoonkook, they are normally under the radar but their moments are very funny and sweet, JK is one of those who knows how to get to Yoongi and Yoongi has a soft spot for JK, is like a father-son but at the same time brothers relationship, reminds me also to JK's bond with Namjoon, I don't know...I find it similar, our maknae adore his hyungs heheh, thanks DT for the reaction!

They really are very close to each other. Jungkook has said that Yoongi never scolds him for anything that he does so he can get away with way more than the other members can and Yoongi has said that he hopes his own son is like JK.

They have literally moments to share with everyone. Most especially JK, he once said he is thw manifestation of all the members coming together. Yes, he hit puberty and adolescence with these 6 men, he watxhed them, grew with them, all that he is now came from the other members. He became this adorable, charming, nice, etc guy. It would only mean this goodness in him came from all the goodness from the other 6. The manefistation. The brotherhood. The family they formed during the decade they were together.

They are have commonalities yes but their relationship is very much father and son. Not like friend to friend he has (suga) with the hyung line and (JK) has with the Maknae line plus Jin and you and I can like music and make music but that doesn't mean it would make us close as your hobbies like cooking and music comes from it's own place in you. Now I am not saying people that like the same thing cannot have that in common I am just saying in this case JK and Suga their personalities are completely different to each other. Suga taught Jk to write n produce songs. He let jk have his password to the studio n no one else. When they play games, Jk often gets a pass or a redo. He’s the most prominent supporter of taekook. He often laughs at taekook’s antics: Taekook received the tests each bc they were going thru a tough time.

So yoongi has a very soft spot for Jk and Jimin he is more playful with them if they hug him he doesn’t get annoyed or push them away but if any of the other members do it he get annoyed because he doesn’t like being affectionate . Jk has always help jin and suga cook both suga and jin treat jk like the baby lol always feeding him and very sweet to him other than JK the only other person that he’s like that with is Jimin he is nice to the others but gets annoyed
