- I receivd my Lomography Digitaliza Max the other day. Here's a video showing the unboxing and assembly. The instructions are provided via QR code, but there's really only one way to assemble this, so it's pretty easy to use.

Looks a pretty neat system, would be useful if you wanted to scan whilst travelling
That's a really good idea I hadn't thought of. This would be great for that.
Greatly appreciated if you can tell us how well/easy it is to scan 6x9 or 6x12 via stitching.
Absolutely. That will be some interesting panorama shooting trickery.
I do miss your older (first) video about the calculations and setup of scanning negatives with a enlarger lens…. You have replaced the video with a newer one right?
Here's the link to the first video: ruclips.net/video/Xh8vJCvsZtY/видео.html
I could have sworn I covered that in the second as well (may not have.)
It does say on the box phone OR digital camera, but you're right: I cannot see how a DSLR or a even a light mirrorless could be used with that set up.
Ah, from their website: "Please do not mount your digital camera on the Smartphone Stand! The Smartphone Stand is not sturdy enough to support the weight of your digital camera safely. When scanning with a digital camera, we recommend that you use a height-adjustable tripod or copy stand to hold your camera steady for the best film scans."
That makes sense. I didn't see that, but yeah, I don't know of any lens for a mirrorless or DSLR camera that would work at that close a range.
:D
:D
@@DavidHancock :/
who is scanning film with their phone? seems very niche
It would make it easier to go straight to IG or other social media, and for photographers without a DSLR or mirrorless budget it could be a good solution.
I used a very similar setup with the Pentax K1000 David sold me. I got 39 images stored on one roll. I sent it off to The Darkroom and got back my scans in less than a week.
I don't know, but it seemed a little redundant and the scans weren't very good resolution. I'm beginning to think David pulled another one over on me.
A video of taking pictures of pictures. I can't believe I paid for this infomercial. Maybe I should buy a drinking glass for instant water...just add water.
*sigh*
I also have a cup 'o air I could sell. It's a cup and it's filled with air. Very special add-on.
@@DavidHancock I sell bottled fermented flatulence. Much more substance than plain old air, and a lot more bang for your butt...er, I mean *buck*.
Why don’t you LEARN BEFORE you make a video instead of making us sit through your fumbling attempts?
Unboxing video. Had never seen it before. Meant that to be clear in the title.
