The petrol version of the new Astra has a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. In the diesel version, only the automatic option is available.

This engine produces a maximum power of 150 PS (148 bhp - 110 kW) at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm (184 lb.ft) at 1750 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the front wheel drive (FWD) with a 8 speed Automatic gearbox.

I've test driven the 2022 model hybrid, drives very nice. Got to wait till May to get mine though
