Woah, thanks for the guide, i got interested of the game because i saw a r6s collab in my recommendation so i started playing this game, so far ive been enjoying the game slowly and just saving orundum stuff and until the collab happen so i can use all my orundum on it and hopefully got the collab units! (I only headhunt 1 times for the free 6 stars and got mountain and he is been really helpful for my team 😊)

@@Inquisitor.N_corp I'd say Mountain would probably make your life easier and he require less investment, Ch'en is good in specific scenario but need high investment and be paired with a buffer to at her peak at her role, wich is mostly killing boss with annoying mechanics realy fast, The issue is that there are a lots of character nowaday that can do that, and most are better, but she get the job done still. And there's a character that will release in 1-2 month that's from the same archetype, with similar skill and that completely overshadows her in every way.
I'd advise new players who want to speedrun through the game on easy mode to find someone with Ling (Mastery 3, Mod 3), especially once you get your first E2. Ling's biggest flaw is the fact that using her summons means you're not using your other operators, and even with that flaw she's still strong. Meanwhile new players have few strong operators so if you're not using your other operators it doesn't mean that much.
I've been playing Arknights casually since 2020, yet I'm still not max level. Hahahaha! I still play it from time to time, and farm and slowly build my operators whenever I'm free. I have a vast collection of them which is a joy. It's not a race. Just pull for the operator you want and max them if you want.
This is the prove Arknights is a good game. 5th anniversary on china server we still have rookie guide. Everyone like it. Give it a try and become doctor you won't regret it.
Only thing i'd like to say: Skins>Pulls anytime! Arknights is one of the very few games that enables you to have nearly all the skins you want while being f2p, while if you use your OP to do a 10 pull if i'm not mistaken it costs 33-ish, thats almost 2 SKINS, and you're only getting a blue bag anyway. Buy the pretty skins you like, you get more than enought pulls doing the usual stuff, you can get most of the characters you want without spendind OP. Also, don't get fixated too much on limited banners, pull on who you like regardless, many get swept in the hype for limited and end up only... seeing worth in the game every 4~6months.
The reason why everyone is fixated on limited banners is because all your pulls will be wasted if you don't get the limited 6* as pity doesn't even carry over, and the spark of 300 is incredibly difficult to reach for most F2P players. Is it really players' fault for doing this when the gacha system is the one that's flawed and offers virtually zero safety net for players? At least lower the spark and/or allow it to carry over like how Nikke does its mileage system. I don't doubt that some people will defend this ridiculous gacha system by saying "but the rates are high and you don't need dupes". Regardless, 300 is unreasonable and don't forget that getting old limited operators is heavily RNG-dependent so there's massive FOMO for pulling. 2% rate isn't exactly amazing either and there's a lot of RNG involved in getting the operator you actually want. There's clearly room for improvement but HG just refuses to give a shit and everyone's somehow ok with it.
I'm not a beginner but i wanna help since i've never seen anyone covering this. 1. Focus all your attention in your base. Watch guides. 2-2-5 is the best design imo. 2. It's really easy to farm 300 pulls in the beginning, there's plenty of past events and chapters to do so. Once you have 300 you wait for a rerun on the shop of past limited operators then you go all in for them. Ch'en alter and Skadi alter are the best options there. 3. Refrain from pulling in regular banner unless both operators are S+ tier. You better off saving pulls for limited banners while sniping operators with yellow certificates from the shop. As it happens in life., delaying gratification usually gets you better outcome.
OK. good 4 stars do one job well. good 6 stars can do multiple things. to elaborate, a 4 star like myrtle generates deployment points (which are needed to deploy units) higher rarity isn't really needed because thats all a vanguard needs to do on your team. whereas a 6 star like ines can generate points, crowd control, reveal stealth and kill units. a 4 star takes 1/3rd the resources to raise over a 6 star. the issue is a 6 star resources are given out freely in game events and the permanent game mode IS2,3 and 4 milestone rewards. as such it might actually be EASIER to raise a 6 star unit as your first elite 2 unit than a 4 star, that said Pudding (and I think only pudding) uses some materials that can easily be gotten on IS2 milestone level 5, and the rest is just farming the chapter 2 boss and you can get her to elite 2 in 660 activity basically 3 days. As such I would recommend a few 3 stars as a first build, kroos, ansel, cardigan, orchid, midnight, a few 4 stars, Myrtle, pudding, perfumer, may, mousse, gummy, coura. but raising your higher rarity is not a bad idea, if you have the materials from some event or something, they are much more valuable in the long run, and running the IS2 and IS3 its not difficult to actually get large quantities of materials for promotion.
damn, seeing this makes me want to start over lmao Here's my tip, if you want to improve your playstyle and not being reliant on strategy vids i suggest you to play integration strategies a lot of times, it's like killing two birds in one stone, you learn the game and you get the rewards by playing it a lot.
2021 to 2023 AK player here. I didn’t really get into it however till early 2022. One tip I can give is to try and experiment with your team layout. Just keep trying until you understand the enemy mechanics and map layout. I tried following guides but I didn’t learn how the game worked until later on when I tried it myself. It becomes much more enjoyable when you understand how to use your operators effectively for sure.
I would mention that you shouldn't upgrade the Office in the base past lv1, as it permanently locks you out of the best base configurations later on (and the benefits of an upgraded Office are miniscule). Not a huge deal for people who aren't trying to min-max though.
in the "what to farm part" you say not to farm Integrated strategy, and I personaly desagree. Yeah as a new player you will struggle a lots going far in it, but it's deffinitly possible to clear floor 2 even reach the florr 3 boss with just a borrowed units and 3stars, especialy IS2 where mountain alone solo the first 2 floors, and the reward are INSANE for a new player, dude it's 20k LMD for the first level is massive for a new player, something you reach even if you don't clear floor 2... Same with the monthly squad, these shit have insane reward that boost your progression so much, and the clear condition are usualy pretty doable, imagine doing a run. So IMO doing a run once in a while help a tone.
Beating 1-10 for events is only most events mind, some require 3-8 if i remember right. And with the next Limited we get x2 redcert Operators. Should also go over why you can get early access to chapter 9 (so you can farm mats needed for Operators added later on).

Arknights beginner guide time duration: 29 min Explanation about how to play: 2 minutes (in a very poor way). Tell me how should I consider a good/bad operator or what is the meaning of the game if you dont explain how to play the game and take 8-9 minutes about getting operators, gacha banners and recruitment. Arknights is much more than getting a good operator for the beginning... it's lore (a huge lore and very developed characters and worldbuilding), it's gameplay, it's wonderful visual aspects, it's...the most important, STRATEGY and your guide doesn't show the most important about this game and why is a better choise over another gacha games.
I returned to arknights after dropping it in 2020-ish, and I returned today, only to find it is level 4, has three 6 stars, and then 5 stars. AND MOST OF THEM WAS AT MAX LEVEL. but the stages were still on 2 stars, but nonetheless I got a lot of originium from the uncompleted stages
small nitpick, I would have tried to avoid showing any skins at all until the skin section, and just set everyone to their default skin in the meantime.
Warfarin is not as good as a medic, there are better options, but she is very good for buffing (+90% atk). She and Skalter are the best buffers in the game
18op+ skins also means in game effects change. And while i agree that texas is indeed free later its only after you have already e2 ops and a module and other things so unless you want to use texas, an early flametail or courier are both good to upgrade. Id also clarify that once the base is done it takes less then a minute to collect and swap out fatigued ops. Just so they dont think it takes forever once its done. Other then that its a great video.
I think I started a month ago? Or 2? I re-rolled 6 times to get Thorns simply bc I loved his design more than anyone else. He's been carrying me since then and I really love using him (plus his JP VA is one of my favs). Now, even tho I figured it might've been bad, I've been trying to pull for Leonhardt in Kernel (cause of his JP VA lol). Is he really just there or is it okay to pull for other banners for a tiny chance to get him? I really want him but his name wasn't on any banners except for Kernel. Maybe I should've watched this sooner. I realized I'm having a very slow progress in Arknights. RN I'm focusing on leveling my characters up and their talents bc yes, I did think I was too low leveled in the current stages I'm clearing. The dumb me never thought there were different kinds of damages like physical and stuff. I kept using my shielders against those huge bozos and my dumb just realized I could've used mages. This guide is really helpful. I figured a lot of things myself but I realized I never paid attention to the ones that mattered lmao! Thanks!
12:26 , hell no i've been f2p since day 1 of my acc 2020/5/1, and to this day i still only use my op for skins and i have not bought a single level pack. I still got majority of the 6 star operators without spending any op and almost everyone that is e2 in my acc has skin, I even have multiple skins for operators like surtr,mudrock and more. Wasting your're hard earned OP on pulls especially if you use like 36(?) of it for a single multi just for you to get a blue bag is not a fun time trust me. But sure if you need to use like a couple of op to maybe reach that pity or maybe if you are just starting and want more operator in your roster then sure go on. But if you play this game because of the aesthetics highly recommend not using you're op to anything but skins.
Honestly, for a new F2P account, Id recommend the following: Mountain > Thorns > Archetto > Flametail. The other 6* are good for sure, but they require their E2 to be optimal while Mountain only needs E1 to get his best skill and it doesn't need to be M3 to make him useful for a new account. Archetto is also very good, but Thorns can also lane hold and is also ranged but he also suffers from needing his E2 to make him really good as his E2 skill is really the only skill you should be using with him. I would also disagree on IS. IS is 100% worth doing especially if you have a few high level friends that have Mountain or Thorns. You can use them to help crutch through probably the early stages in Crimson and and Mizuki which will help get you basically free material/LMD/cosmetics. I wouldn't say to spend hours grinding it, but new players that are at least a little along should be trying to do it once in a while for an injection of stuff. SS however is 100% skippable to anyone that does not have a really strong roster and is pushing to get all of the modules for every operator and get them to level 3. New accounts 100% don't need to pay any attention to this for a long time. Just my two cents though, overall very informative guide!

Good Question , Enemies Always Target Last Deployed Operator For Example If You Deploy Sniper/Caster , Then You Deploy Defender , Ranged Enemies will Focus on Last Deployed Operator [ Your Defender/Guard or Any Melee Operator ]
I just started playing Arknights, oddly hecause of the story and lore as well as the music and the graphic design. I really am not that fond of tower defense hut AK surprised me with its depth. But man, I'm hella confused. But since I have experience from other gachas like PGR. Some systems are familiar.

For people who want the most casual way here; For base do: 1 Post - 2 Factory 1 Post - 2 Factory 3 - Energy With this set up you can figure out which section has lmd and exp operators much more conveniently and if you're lazy enough, disregard the energy facilities. Next use an annihilation skip ticket everyday, preferable chose a stage where you can do it 7 times a week. It will make your dailies so much faster, just do base, Anni, recruitment, credit store and you're done (or maybe visit a friend base not 100% sure) Next you can also just abandon the clue facility (not recommended if you care about friend's credits), just make sure you fill up every clue first so friends won't send you clues you won't use it and leave one operator there so you won't get a red notification.
I am a veteran player and if they add an auto swap teams for the base i will come back cx Yes doing that task everyday make me quit for the monotony(only the base thing the rest of the game is hyper fun :D) xddd Also i aprove this guide, i couldnt say everything any better :D
I have a question, what's the difference between intermezzo, side stories and record restoration? I got Flamebringer (a mistake I know) and Bena from the record restoration but what do the other two do? because I assumed I would need to play stages to get those operators but no I just had to claim them after watching some cutscenes so what's the difference?

I returned to arknights after dropping it in 2020-ish, and I returned today, only to find it is level 4, has three 6 stars, and then 5 stars. AND MOST OF THEM WAS AT MAX LEVEL. but the stages were still on 2 stars, but nonetheless I got a lot of originium from the uncompleted stages

small nitpick, I would have tried to avoid showing any skins at all until the skin section, and just set everyone to their default skin in the meantime.

For voucher I just pick Liskarm (because she just cool) and Waffarin because I don't have a good healer
Warfarin is not as good as a medic, there are better options, but she is very good for buffing (+90% atk). She and Skalter are the best buffers in the game
@@SergazzI see, I though she can be a good healer, now I realised Hibicus and Perfumer are just better, having wider healing range
18op+ skins also means in game effects change.
And while i agree that texas is indeed free later its only after you have already e2 ops and a module and other things so unless you want to use texas, an early flametail or courier are both good to upgrade.
Id also clarify that once the base is done it takes less then a minute to collect and swap out fatigued ops. Just so they dont think it takes forever once its done.

I think I started a month ago? Or 2? I re-rolled 6 times to get Thorns simply bc I loved his design more than anyone else. He's been carrying me since then and I really love using him (plus his JP VA is one of my favs). Now, even tho I figured it might've been bad, I've been trying to pull for Leonhardt in Kernel (cause of his JP VA lol). Is he really just there or is it okay to pull for other banners for a tiny chance to get him? I really want him but his name wasn't on any banners except for Kernel.
Maybe I should've watched this sooner. I realized I'm having a very slow progress in Arknights. RN I'm focusing on leveling my characters up and their talents bc yes, I did think I was too low leveled in the current stages I'm clearing. The dumb me never thought there were different kinds of damages like physical and stuff. I kept using my shielders against those huge bozos and my dumb just realized I could've used mages. This guide is really helpful. I figured a lot of things myself but I realized I never paid attention to the ones that mattered lmao! Thanks!
12:26 , hell no i've been f2p since day 1 of my acc 2020/5/1, and to this day i still only use my op for skins and i have not bought a single level pack. I still got majority of the 6 star operators without spending any op and almost everyone that is e2 in my acc has skin, I even have multiple skins for operators like surtr,mudrock and more. Wasting your're hard earned OP on pulls especially if you use like 36(?) of it for a single multi just for you to get a blue bag is not a fun time trust me. But sure if you need to use like a couple of op to maybe reach that pity or maybe if you are just starting and want more operator in your roster then sure go on. But if you play this game because of the aesthetics highly recommend not using you're op to anything but skins.

Honestly, for a new F2P account, Id recommend the following: Mountain > Thorns > Archetto > Flametail. The other 6* are good for sure, but they require their E2 to be optimal while Mountain only needs E1 to get his best skill and it doesn't need to be M3 to make him useful for a new account. Archetto is also very good, but Thorns can also lane hold and is also ranged but he also suffers from needing his E2 to make him really good as his E2 skill is really the only skill you should be using with him.
I would also disagree on IS. IS is 100% worth doing especially if you have a few high level friends that have Mountain or Thorns. You can use them to help crutch through probably the early stages in Crimson and and Mizuki which will help get you basically free material/LMD/cosmetics. I wouldn't say to spend hours grinding it, but new players that are at least a little along should be trying to do it once in a while for an injection of stuff. SS however is 100% skippable to anyone that does not have a really strong roster and is pushing to get all of the modules for every operator and get them to level 3. New accounts 100% don't need to pay any attention to this for a long time.
Just my two cents though, overall very informative guide!

Quick question, why my range operator always get targeted by ranged enemy ? On 19:58 almost all range enemy range targeting the defender insted range operator.
Good Question , Enemies Always Target Last Deployed Operator
For Example If You Deploy Sniper/Caster , Then You Deploy Defender , Ranged Enemies will Focus on Last Deployed Operator [ Your Defender/Guard or Any Melee Operator ]
I just started playing Arknights, oddly hecause of the story and lore as well as the music and the graphic design. I really am not that fond of tower defense hut AK surprised me with its depth.

For people who want the most casual way here;
For base do:
1 Post - 2 Factory
1 Post - 2 Factory
3 - Energy
With this set up you can figure out which section has lmd and exp operators much more conveniently and if you're lazy enough, disregard the energy facilities.
Next use an annihilation skip ticket everyday, preferable chose a stage where you can do it 7 times a week. It will make your dailies so much faster, just do base, Anni, recruitment, credit store and you're done (or maybe visit a friend base not 100% sure)
Next you can also just abandon the clue facility (not recommended if you care about friend's credits), just make sure you fill up every clue first so friends won't send you clues you won't use it and leave one operator there so you won't get a red notification.
I am a veteran player and if they add an auto swap teams for the base i will come back cx

Quite so, you need almost 600k lmd to build a 6* to e2lv1 (not mentioning the materials)
If you start from scratch and can farm the best (and hardest) stages, you'll probably take over a week
