Please refer to 2018 AASLD Guidelines. Unfortunately, this presentation is very outdated in 2023. For starters, the dz is no longer referred to as "Primary Biliary Cirrhosis", but Primary Biliary Cholangitis". Also biopsies are now rarely performed unless trying to distinguish PBC from Overlap dz.
Speaking as a person who has PBC, liver biopsy is not routinely done nowadays if Antimitochondrial antibodies (AMAs) are present in the blood.
In terms of treatment, Ocaliva is used in addition to or instead of Urso if Urso is not tolerated or is ineffective.

If you simply review the 2018 AASLD Guidelines, you will soon learn just how misinformed/outdated this video is, even though it was posted to RUclips fairly recently.
