Just commenting on entropy and the "log" in mathematics pertains to the natural logarithm also commonly known as "ln". A mathematician must've edited the wiki page on Boltzmann because the logarithmic function without a specification on what base it is is commonly known as the natural logarithm in their world. Although they use ln, any logarithm would suffice, but the nice property of taking the derivative of "disorder" or entropy in a system comes out more nicely than a log with a base that's not equal to Euler's number.
