Hi Ken, got a Fujinon EBC 55mm f1.8 on K&F Concept m42-Fx adapter, but the pin is not all the way in, can't change the f-stop using the aperture ring. Any advice on this?
Ken, I picked up both of these lenses and adapted to Nikon F Digital (D7100) and Film (F4) and Canon M mount. The rendering differences from newer lenses is fun to compare. I had some random M42 lenses in the archive that I took out and played with as well and it's fun to compare the rendering. I find that compared to the newer lenses, there are some of these M42 classics that render very colorful. It's a real pleasure to work with them, especially with a digital body that has focus peaking.
Hi Ken, I can't chose between the Yashinon 5cm f2 or the 5.5cm f1.8 lens. Which of the two is the best to fit on my XT2. Mainly looking at Resolution and Sharpenss. Your feedback who much appreciated. Thanks love your lens review videos.
Hei man, thanks for all your advice, I really apreciate what you do with your advices and suggesions. I've seen quite few other people that are supposed to give advice, test cameras, lenses, but are in fact button sniffers, and I'm happy to have found some free voice like you. Some others around, but not too many in the fotography field, so well, it's just my opinion, but well done man! This is not only speaking about gears, but spread culture, give to people the opportunity to understand in a different way, catch some poetic that some ultra engineeredr lenses cannot simply get. Speaking about lenses, I'm also looking for a wide angle for my fuji xt2, I really like the 28 - 35 mm equivalent focal lenght, so, 18 and 23 mm on apsc, for this reason I would LOOOVE to find out some old, simple designed lens to cover that focal lenghts. I know it's not easy, because back in the 40's, 50's, 60's until 90's it was not easy to design wide angles, but you know, I try to ask to you, you are sure the most authoritative guy that I know in this area. Ken, any ideas for a cheap 400mm I can use on my xt2 with an adapter. Need more reach than my 55-200!

Hi Ken is the yashinon 50mm ds f/2 m42 just as good as the yashinon 5cm 50mm f/2 m42?
Is the Yashica ML 50MM 1:2 the same as the Auto Yashinon 50mm f2?
I've had that Yashinon for a while. It's great but one thing it kills at is macro with extension tubes. The sharpness and colours are great and the bokeh is off the charts. Some lenses tend to suffer with the specular highlights on insects but this one doesn't.

Hi Ken, I just got a Helios 44-2 from eBay. It works ok slight grind when focusing and I noticed oil on the aperture blades which they failed to mention in the description- will oil cause any problems?
on a MF lens it doesnt matter a bit, as long as they move, it only matters on moving apertures on AF lenses where it has to open and close quickly

You should watchout, i found a video of those two lenses under a geiger counter. Both are quite radioactive
