Hi mate!! Must be time for a new video? Long time no see, hope you are doing well up there. Not as much metallic shine as cichlids, but more than nice enough, and gentle little souls :)
hey boss, nice seeing you, i guess if they have enough space to call their territory they will not fight much, but considering all that is said. Issues will exist...Another solid video. greetings brotha
Either the sources are not selling females because no one buys them or limit the breeding by lay aquarists. Just got my self a "pair" of juvenile kribs but it seems to be as a larger male and a smaller one. Fortunately the tank is large enough and planted that the smaller one can hide in an instant the larger one charges on it.
Well i just got myself a honey gourami and i reckon its a female 😂 i wanted to get the wild type like your first one with the black underneath but they were out of stock (online) so i got the gold type luck of the draw i guess mine might colour up more once in my DT currently keeping them separate for a few weeks QT its quite dull but very young.
Perhaps you should have politely asked them what their pronouns were before you bought them Colin. In the past, I have purchased smaller, plainer looking fish thinking they were females only to have them colour up and turn out to be males once they were less stressed.

Love that dark faced gourami! It's gorgeous!
after decades in the hobby I had never seen one in person until this little fella :)
Love the standard Honey Gourami. The Golden variety seems to more common it seems...both nice :)

Always jealous of your java fern. I have concluded my hard water keeps my Java fern from looking like yours. Good tour
Thanks for watching mate :)

I'm sure the silver females can be hard to sell in the stores, but it takes 2 to tango :)

It can be embarrassing telling your house boss one thing and the opposite happens, life can be hard as a fish guru.....LOL :)
