Nice to your video
Thanks a lot!
@@AMPROEngineering hi
Have a good condition King Blackfoot that I got in 2000 for Christmas. Took it out and got a boat load of part to fix it up and upgrade it. So in love again, what a truck! 😁
So awesome! I love mine. I will do a buyers guide on it soon! I was stuck on footage for the frog but now I have that done.
Great video, love the original Blackfoot
Thank you!
Beautiful truck, i like the the colors you chose. I love them old black foots one of my favorite rc trucks
Thanks a lot. it is one of my faves also.
One of the best rc bodies ever. Nice looking BF!
I agree! Thanks!
Never seen a yellow Black Foot looks awesome
They are rare to see in yellow and I think they work like this.
@@AMPROEngineering it does, it fits that era of truck like the lunchbox in yellow.
Absolutely love the my car series 👍
I appreciate that Austin!
I've always like the BF and I had a couple friends who raced them back in the late '80's. If/when someone starts injection-molding or vacuum forming a true 1/10 scale version of this Ford step-side body, I have a new HG-P407 in the box and waiting. Great video as always. Cheers!
Man.... I didnt think of that....no one seems to make a 1/10 do they? thanks for the kind words too BTW!
This was my 2nd RC car as a kid after a first series bandit that stripped the rear diff. Memories!
That's a great upgrade!
What a beauty! Blackfoot was my go to for my teen years. Thank you for sharing.
Sure thing! Mine too!
This is such a legendary Blackfoot for the community
Haha! Thanks man!
Awesome as always. Can't wait for episode number 300 🎉
It should be a special one.
Dude! You are the man! I need to have you on my show "Lets Talk RC" that I do on my channel. We are near the same age and grew up with these things back in the 80s and 90s. You were an inspiration for me to get back into this hobby and resurrect my old Tamiya cars. Would love to have a casual convo and go back in time. Let me know if you are down.
Hell yeah! Email me amproengineering@gmail.com
@@AMPROEngineering awesome! sent ya
Always regretted selling my original Blackfoot. Bought it for like 100 bucks and I completely restored it.
Awe man sorry to hear that!
Excellent video this is an absolutely epic car in this channel
Thank you very much!
ive had a thorpe rear end in my blackfoot since the early 90s,still works great
Nice. I sold all of mine after the MIP came out. Worked out well, sold the thorp's for 100-150 each. Bought the MIP's and Tamiya CVD for $60 a truck. Haha! Man I love these trucks now.
I just built a 2016 black foot.I ordered the rear shock supports from shape ways and the ball diff.that you suggested.I love the truck.some point I’d like to restore my fathers original black foot.for him.I’m restoring a fx10 right now.love the channel.👍
Awe that is killer! Im glad to hear it!
That is a awesome color choice
Thank you! I copied a friend of mine TBH so I cant take credit, haha!
@@AMPROEngineering good friends share stuff that’s cool. I am enjoying your videos so thanks for sharing that.
very nice monter truck~~!
Liked & subbed~!!
Thank you!
Cool I have a bright yellow Blackfoot too got a set of repro decals for a Sand Scorcher left in my attic dunno if it was summer heat or the winter cold but all the colours went different shades of pink!
What the heck! So weird!
@@AMPROEngineering yeah thinking temp changes effected the pigment in the ink.
I always wanted one of those!
Its a great truck. I need to do a buyers guide on it asap! The new MIP ball diff really made this awesome.
Nice video
Where did you get the sway bar from and as monster beetle is the same chassis would it fit on one?
Oh man...I think it was on a parts car from years back. you can find them on ebay.
Looks great, my friend. Good history it has. So what exactly do you se for the clear coat? And whatever happened to the continuation of the MIP project? Totally cancelled, or will there be more? I know we had a hard time finding support, but I see the MIP super ball diff a lot on videos like this.
Thank you! The clear is testors clear. I love that stuff. Well MIP is still on board but some of the "T" fans on some sites have been awful to deal with. Makes it hard to get the word out.
I didn’t like the re release grill so I got an original one off eBay. Looks a lot better. Cool vid btw
Yeah that is why I made the grill insert. WAY better. Episode 11
@@AMPROEngineering grill insert looks very good too late now though lol
hey man awesome color! is it chrome or camel yellow? would like to do this on mine
Oh man....this was years ago...I want to say it was camel yellow? Good rule of thumb, get a yellow that matches (or close to) the wheels. That is what I did.
have you ever thought about making a 3d print for the sun roof panel? Seems like they are always lost
No I haven't. That is a good idea! I will add it to the cue. I think it would be very helpful.
Did you use the superglue bondo trick for the sunroof?
OH yes! The only way to go!
Whose we? Your one person.
I am a Gemini. There are at least 2 people there....
dang i want one too
They are solid cars.
The prices on Shapeways is outrageous when it come to the Blackfoot tail light 17.24 for houses 17.24 for lenses and I needed 2 sets for my snap-on hauler that highway Robbery
These are 3D printed, not molded. Molded ones would be about 0.50 cents each but $1500 for the mold, an MOQ of about 10000 units....
I had roll over in my blackfoot over the weekend that destroyed the rear body posts. Is there a more durable body post for the blackfoot?
Sadly no. they are hard PC ABS. I made some in nylon but they require the body to be modified. ABS ones would be best but at the moment there really is nothing.
Matteo sent me ! 👍😃how can I get the super cool Ampro decal sheet he showed me ?
Haha! MCI makes and sells them for me. You can get them here: mciracing.ca/products/1-10th-ampro-engineering-decals
Do you have any super rooster speed controls that you would want to sell please comment back that are in working order would love to have one thank you for all of your videos
I run a lot of these but by todays standards they are not good. On top of that they sell for $150+. For that you can get 3 great escs.
I'd do almost anything to find a new " old" Blackfoot" for $ 60 dollars , $ 10 would be even better, but I could do $ 60 !
LOL! Yeah it is all in the timing. I think this was 1997?
Hi lovely ride! what is the yellow colour is it tamiya ts camel yellow?
Yes, it is! I normally would have said "No idea" but how could I forget Camel yellow?
@@AMPROEngineering cheers it really looks well, appreciate the reply 👍
Comprei um desse semi muito novo, aqui no brasi SP ! 04/02/2024
Muito legal! Estes são ótimos caminhões.
Cool... Just upload my new Blackfood video
Thanks! I loved the video!
I had a Kangaroo!
Really! That is neat! I have wanted to review one.
@@AMPROEngineering my dad had an AYK Radiant and a Hirobo Rockin city, I’d love to see videos on any of those cars. Have a great day
10 dollars!
LOL, yeah!
Please stop calling it a car
It is a toy car.
@@AMPROEngineering hahahaha shoot me now why don’t ya hahaha
