I will do it often but not by soaking horsegram, I will dry roast it and break it and cook only three whistles and follow sir’s procedure it will taste heaven and that too in a rainy day
Today I prepared Kellu Kuzhambu(We call kollu as kaanaam in Tamizh). I am not eating onion and garlick.So I prepared without these. It is good. We make chutni, Idli,Dosai,soup, paruppu podi etc in kollu.All are very good and good for health. All your preparations are very good.

Hi sir, pls don't mistake me. I don't even know whether I can ask this question to such a legendary chef like you. At least for South Indian dishes could you pls use regular chilly powder or at least suggest the proportion to be used against Kashmiri chilly powder. Thank you
Wonderful recipe Sir. There is a simpler way of cooking it. You have to dry roast the horse gram till it is slightly warm. Then wash it well and cook it in the cooker till 3 whistles and keep it in sim for about 15-20 mts. It will get cooked well.
Every saturday kollu parupu with ghee in kongu area its mandatary but the recepie is little differ from this.that one s looks like chatney(kollu kadaiyal)one pot recepie.
