Heavens! The full works of Thomas Manton quietly occupying that top shelf there. What a wonderful choice of counsellor. If you like the Puritans, and you haven't already, may I recommend Joseph Caryl's commentary on Job, or the full works of Thomas Brooks? Peace in Christ, Richard Cadby
Good review. Always interesting to learn more. I’m pretty new to pipe smoking. I was wondering if you have any knowledge about European tobaccos? I’m heading to Denmark in a month and I’m hoping to bring back a bunch of different kinds of samples to try. I’m wondering what is your take on some brands that we can’t get on this side on the pond?
Although it is produced by the STG, it isn't available here in Italy, which is a shame. I'm still "searching" for my go-to daily blend, but the bright side is, I'm trying lots of tobaccos I wouldn't normally pick up. Great video as always Wilson, stay safe!
Love the review and grabbed a pouch just to give it a try. I totally agree with you. It won't be a regular for me, but nice to have in rotation. My grandfather was a faithful Granger smoker so I got some of it as well. Curious if you have reviewed it before.
Good Evening 😊 Thanks for the review 👍🏼 Sounds like a good tobacco 😋 Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the blend 👏🏼 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Great review, man! I’ve been watching your videos for a while and always enjoy them. Im not too much of a burley guy these days, but I liked hearing your thoughts!
Of course, it is an easy blend and that is why Codgers love it. Both of my grandfather smoked it so naturally as a young boy I grew to appreciate its simple worth. A no non-sense, mindless smoking companion and a regular indulgence for sure. And yes, quite repeatable in my cobs.
Apologies for the loud music in the last 30 seconds. Sure enough the rare time I don't watch the video fully through, it occurs!
I enjoy the background music. Things like the last 30 seconds, it happens :-)
😂🎉 my ears 🌽😂🎉 awesome video an a good review

One of my favorites! Thanks for taking the time to make a video on it!

I hope you you find your go-to! It's a shame this isn't around your area.
Great channel! New pipe smoker here. What’s your overall favorite codger blend?

I haven't reviewed Granger yet but its on the docket
I never could get pipes to smoke right. So far, Corn Cobbs have been the best for me.

Another nice review.
Could/have you reviewed Prince Albert??
I’ve not tried any codger blends but I love burley and may try it out if I see it out and about. Thanks for the review.
In an interview, Shelby Foote said he mixed 50 % Half & Half and 50% Sir Walter Raleigh.
I think this blend is okay/good, but Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic is just plain yummy. Give it a try.
I'll have to add it to the list!

I appreciate it!
How does this compare to velvet?
Good Review! Could you review Prince Albert?
You bet
My Godfather would roll his own cigarettes with prince Albert. This can be smoked in a pipe?
I found that I need to do a tighter pack, or it burns hot.
It's cheap stuff, but for it's price the Avanti Argentinian tobacco cuts are pretty nice, a friend of mine would love to see you review it!

It’s ok stuff. For me a little boring and SWR aromatic was better for me. Good review!
Never tried this yet.
Please consider doing Carter Hall
That's the plan. It'll be in the next order I make
How does this compare to CB?
My Sir Walter Raleigh is very tangy and smells of vinegar. Strange.
The new demark produced stuff is preserved with vinegar. It goes away.
@@kill7402 that’s good to know! Thanks!
Yeah I’ve noticed that too. Once it’s lit it has a pleasant cocoa room note, but the tin note is definitely vinegary.
🙏❤️🙏
Those stay fresh pouches never keep these tobaccos at a proper freshness.
The music got unruly near the end, you need to keep it in line
Yup, it sure did. Apologies. Fortunately it's in the last 30 seconds.
