Stolen Kia crashes into bus, 14-year-old driver charged

- A 14-year-old male was criminally charged after allegedly driving a stolen Kia into a school bus outside a Milwaukee school.
TMJ4 News has decided to not name the suspect because of his age. The teen is an eighth grader.
The crash happened outside Morse Middle School for the Gifted and Talented near 80th and Mill a little before 9 a.m. last week Monday. An 11-year-old who was on the bus was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 15-year-old who was in the vehicle that struck the bus was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

This definitely shouldn't be in juvenile court. That kid was suspended for stealing a different car already. These kids need to be stopped. My heart breaks for the injured kids family😢
What a coward. Running away from the crash scene and leaving his own buddy for dead after crashing the stolen Kia into a bus in a way that said buddy of his, who was the front seat passenger, took the brunt of the crash. He may think he's bold, but the fact that he not only ran but also lied about it speaks volumes of his cowardice.

the driver actually tried to pull the one dangling but someone yelled not to move him and they all ran off and from the last report i can find the 15 year old dangling is breathing for himself and talking

Grand Theft Auto and Carjacking should be a federal crime with a minimum punishment of 5 years, and a debt to the victim for their cars value(mandatory 30% paycheck garnishment).
Also, there should be NO juvenile court. A criminal is a criminal. They all deserve to go through the same procedures as the adults.
Wage garnishment requires an actual job.
I think at this point society needs to get even more serious than that. Does this person really have a potential future of contributions to society in any good way. Well the good news is if the teen almost ejected from the vehicle dies then the driver can be charged with felony murder. That way, hopefully he can be tried as an adult and sent to prison for a loooooooong time.

However, soon as he is out, these kids need to be locked up. In the "Kia Boys" earlier videos, they already make it clear, these juveniles have zero regard for the law, any pedestrians they may hit and any potential consequences. They make their videos, bragged about the fact that, even if they are charged, would only be facing a misdemeanor, 2-3 week slap on the wrist. Its time to make an example and charge these kids as adults, maybe then these kids will start to learn that this new "TikTok challenge" isnt as glamorous as portrayed by the "Kia Boys".

The owner of the Kia said that was the 4th time the car was attempted to be stolen and it DID have "the Club" steering wheel locking device installed at the time the teens took it. Likely why it was swerving before hitting the school bus
