This was a bad ass version of Grease... Saw this movie when I was 10.. Made a big impression in those days.. And still. Yesterday I scored the original soundtrack on vinyl in the triftshop.. I was back in those days.. Great memories! 👍
Watched this movie about 30 times on Betamax video and watched in the Theater when it aired. I was then 12 years old. I loved it. There is also a small blooper in filming where a glas on a table is almost empty and seconds later its full
I watched this movie so many times in my early teens. It’s such a cool, exciting coming of age movie, the 60’s style, the Bronx setting, the soundtrack, the Wanderers themselves being a group of friends who always looked out for each other (well mostly), it was everything i wish i could of lived in my teenage years. A classic.
I remember I watched as a kid in the early 2000s, I remember it recently and re-watched it. It's a very good movie, I totally enjoyed it, the ending is a bit sad but good.
I watched this movie some 15 years ago, I never knew its name and was even more difficult as I thought they were "the wonders" I can rest in peace now, I got this one :')
Great film 🎥 people well worth a watch 10/10 . You can rent the film 🎥 from RUclips . Have a good day and stay safe through this very sad time. 🇬🇧👍🏻🙏🏻💪🏻
Was in my mid teens when first came out on Betamax format I watched it in the youth club with 20 other guys we all came out thinking we were "the wanderers". I've watched it at least once a month since then.
Wanderers-1960s, Warriors-1970s... i don't have a favorite they were both good in their own right, it was a different era though. The Warriors is "harder" in the sense they didn't joke around... Wanderers was more down to earth & funny at times. Both were classics
9/10/2020: You see, nothing ever truly change. There is NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. Even now we still have foul mouthed gangs, racism/hatred, rowdiness, loose girls/women, alcohol, drugs and etc.
Nothing to do with each other. The Wanderes have fantastic sound track and it's basically about the end of an era. The Warriors is remarkable too. I have both, and still watch them both.
Totally different genres really, The Warriors is an action movie essentially all about making it from point A to point B. The Wanderers is more coming of age, it features gangs yes, but it’s more of a slice of life and not a tense action thriller. Not that it matters really both are awesome to me anyway.
The soundtrack alone makes this movie an absolute classic
One of the first films my old man got out on video... belting beautiful film. Never gets the recognition it deserves for me. Top soundtrack as well
An underrated classic.
Lived on Holland Ave between Burke and Adee and got to see some of the filming. What memories

One of my childhood faves....and the soundtrack is timeless.❤️

@@foreilly thank for the info.
Wanderers Forever. I had a gold school coat and painted Wanderers on the back as a kid. Not long ago I bought my son the DVD.
Me and my mom saw this yesterday. She had never seen it before and she loved it! Said it reminded her of her youth.

I remember I watched as a kid in the early 2000s, I remember it recently and re-watched it. It's a very good movie, I totally enjoyed it, the ending is a bit sad but good.
I realized that with Dylan there it cemented the change of rock they saw and a new integration of the hippy movement
One of my favorite movie from back in day🙂🍻🍺🍺
"Leave the kid alone!"
Literally just finished watching it. It's free on RUclips now if anyone wants to watch .

2 months left until 2020 and I'll still be rocking it then as well.
Bet you didn’t know 8 months ago the only thing you would be rocking in 2020 is a mask.
Time warp: It's now 2022. 😵💫

One of my favourite films ever! Does any one no if New York still has Italian gangs like this ?
Was in my mid teens when first came out on Betamax format I watched it in the youth club with 20 other guys we all came out thinking we were "the wanderers". I've watched it at least once a month since then.
Terror and the baldys were hilarious, "don't fuck with the baldys"
Don't fuck with the wongs
Saw it in the 80s and never forgot it. So good.
Me too. We had HBO and it played often during the early 80’s. We watched many times.
Wanderers-1960s, Warriors-1970s... i don't have a favorite they were both good in their own right, it was a different era though.

0.05 the girl with the red bow in her hair is played by Toni Kalem, who later played Angie Bonpensiero on the Sopranos
Looks great, I'm sold.
Like it? I watched it quite a few years ago and I really liked it!
I can't think of another trailer with so many great songs in it.
UP THERE WITH STAND BY ME, BEST MUSIC & COMING OF AGE FILMS
It's good. Loved the classroom scene. Wish they still put dialog like that in films today.

Love the movie and soundtrack!
This is like the outsiders but more fun, light and actually better.
I see an ad for a very bright flashlight, but no mention of how long the battery lasts.
My fav movie of all time

Superb movie !
This movie blows away The Outsiders but never got the recognition it deserved
I might be wrong but perhaps could be the multicultural gangs? 🤷🏻♂️ I haven’t seen this movie but looks amazing! 🙏🏼

I'm still mad there's no Puerto Rican set. They been boppin since the Sharks.
*The Wongs*
of course they know martual arts.
Yep. One of the famous stereotypes for Asians. There are more Asians who don’t know “martial” arts than those who do.
@@cooper482011 thats a stereotype- the asian guy who says most asians DONT know martial arts is a stereotype NOW
Dont fuck with the wongs. Lol
great movie with great music.

I love this movie ❤.
What an awesome movie…
TFW you're watching The Running Man and recognize one of the Baldies.
Obviously I love this film.
The Warriors vs The Wanderers
Wanderers was way better
Durant and Steph would be too much too handle
I was a Wanderers fan, but older brother was a Warriors fan. 1979 great movies.
Love both films...warriors edge it for me
Ajax alone would wash the wanders 😆
"The Wanderers are coming"
"Not yet"

Hell yeah. Great scene. Great movie
This movie will never be as good as the warriors 😂😂😂
Completely different styles.
I've never seen it
Nothing to do with each other. The Wanderes have fantastic sound track and it's basically about the end of an era. The Warriors is remarkable too. I have both, and still watch them both.
Both classics...slight edge for the wanderers due to the music throughout
You’re right....it will always be better!
