      @@charlotteashleyfarm we get over 3 metres of rain here but only over 4-5 months the nothing but high temps. i come from arming folk in Victoria in the south of Australia and my Dad was a shearer. Love your honest approach. Must be hard graft in the wet all the time, but you look after your stock very well and that's so important, good work!

    When I was a kid I used to pick the maize whilst it was still in its early stages of growing, looked and tasted like baby sweetcorn. It was never nice when fully grown!

    Put a concrete step on inside of shed so cows can put front feet out it and gives u a straight edge for scraping against

    You need a robotic scraper, expensive but all that scraping is so labour intensive it counteracts the labour saving from the milking robot

      Robotic scraper is in the plans for the future as she has talked about it lots in previous videos, but having just finished building the cow shed this year and with the price of them as you know it's not that high on the priority list

    To increase subscribers try using #hash tags before your descriptions. Example #maize harvest, # Lely robots break down, #Jersey milk cows calving. So when people do their search then your site will show up for them to see.

    The few times you need to clean up bad feed, you can pour concrete as a triangle against pillars for smooth bobcat scraping. Panels are definitely on right side 👍

    Common sense would dictate you put the panels on the inside of the beams for ease of scraping. 💩 is more corrosive on the steel beams than silage.for the feed star system common sense would dictate the panels go on the outside of the beam or else there would be a gap between the belt and the cows. You have it right.

    Corn on the cob for animal feed. Grow it near a town they come out and steal it but are unable to eat it. Waste of effort for both parties!

      When I come out in a morning that’s exactly what it’s like before I’ve pushed up you can’t stop them pushing it away

      @@charlotteashleyfarm push it up last thing at night seeing it look like that tells an experienced dairy they have went to long without it being pushed up all that will do like that is cause you real problems with your cows especially after calving they need kept full too transition properly and milk it’s not criticism it’s a bit of advice
