It's always so interesting to see how parents react to their children getting tattoos. My parents don't care as long as we're 18 and out of the house. I even have a matching one with my mom and sister XD. My parent's have a couple of their own so I guess they're just more open
When I got my tattoo my parents couldnt care less, same goes for my grandma even. Honestly if ur parents hit you or want to throw out their homes bc of what YOU do with YOUR body...thats not okay bro, thats toxic af.
Why are some parents willing to kill their children because of a tattoo? To be honest, I have never understood such a violent reaction. If my child comes and says, "I have a tattoo," I won't scream or hurt him, I'll say, "Very beautiful, but please tell me the next time you do another one, maybe I'll want to go with you and get myself a tattoo". It doesn't matter with or without tattoos, this is my child, and I will always love and support him. Some parents should lower the bar of custody and let their children go, they do not need to be constantly monitored. The reaction of the parents is not funny, it is terribly irritable.

I got my first tattoo when I was 17. The legal age was 18 it had just went up from 16. My mom actually took me to get it. She had a guy she went to, to get her tattoos so she asked me if I wanted to go and I could decide if I wanted to get one. I ended up getting one, my mom got a half sleeve. I wouldn't be upset if my child got a tattoo. I just want them to make sure they got something they wanted and are going to still like years from now because tattoo removal is very painful.

I dont mind parents getting mad at kids who gets tattoo when they are still and in school but i would hate it if they yell at their kids for getting a tattoo when they finished high school and they are adults already. They have their right to their own body and no parent have the say in it. Unless its a cultural thing. I dont have any tattoos yet but im getting one at the end of the year
My mum is like….just do what u want, because ur 18 man. She would never come into my "Adult" life and would say….it’s beautiful but pls tell me next time. Or she would never hit me. She respects it because it’s my choice and my body. I live in Germany, it’s like when ur 18 ur and adult. Everyone can do what they want. I mean I have so many piercings and tattoos. If she would hit me for those , then I need more then 100 slaps bra. Then I would say : are u ok? Did u lost brain cells???
Then I can be grateful that it is very popular in Sweden. 😅 I would probably say that 80% of the people have tattoos. And 50% piercing. If not more. Myself have both. And the first thing I got was my navel piercing. Which I got as a present from my parents when I turned 15. My grandmother (my mother's) was very nice at the edge. You should be neat. So she wasn't as impressed. And always tried to get me and my sister. To blend into the crowd. Without progress. But my grandmother (My father's) on the other hand. Thought that was cool. She liked. That my sister and I were ourselves. And didn't go with the flow. And always went our own way.
yes in my country is a bad thing since it is a muslim country.I don't understand it is the child body and over 18 so what if they did let them when my son or daughter want a tatto I wil take them personaly.I am not doing a tatto just because I am just not in Tatto thing not that I am afarid of my parent.
