I drive 2023 Mack Pinnacle in the Oklahoma oilfields, and yes thats what they sound like!!! The reason trucks don’t sound loud anymore is because of the same reason you don’t see smoke anymore, DEF Systems that quiet the engine down!
@@JackieDaytona01 yeah the first time I drove a kenworth in the game and used the engine brake it reminded me instantly the noise I hear every day of the trucks passing on the motorway next to my work place
With all due respect to SCS software, the base game engine sounds do leave something to be desired, which is why we are thankful for the Steam Workshop 🤠
@@BobstTrucking but thing is it’s not Scs fault! These are legit what the engines sound like in real life! I’ve drove most of these trucks in real life and they do sound like this, emission systems are why, they quiet the motor and collect all diesel exhaust so no smoke either! Thanks to the California state government for all that.
Hell yeah. Amazing video. I can't wait for Monday. I'm so hyped up to explore Arkansas and check out the new Mack. Hell of a job on grinding to get out a bunch of videos out lately
Can't wait to play today. But looks like gonna need a Mod to bring mirrors forward like the mack anthem . Rather then that looks good. I don't have head tracking but to play with thrustmaster farm stick with my steering wheel good if u don't got a shifter and the stick helps with looking left and right to forward with the stick. Great vid
@bethmotgomery2662 Yes, quite if you compare it to older trucks. Every one that play this game complains about the sounds of the trucks not realizing that new trucks are quite.
Sadly I will be purchasing the Arkansas DLC due to my computer being broken will have to buy a new one. The reason it's broken is because of a walby GPU fan that got out of place

Arkansas is looking amazing cant wait to buy this on Monday.
Also SCS did an amazing job with both recreating Blytheville AR and Nucor Hickman. It's amazing to see them do my hometown justice
8:56 of course cuz of the arkamsas state police!
Awesome video 👍😀
I already bought the dlc so I'm 👍
Oh Ka-chow.
I’m personally don’t care for the truck, but it’s free so I won’t complain. Just not my style. Personally 57x and cascadia guy.
The sound is a little off, meaning it's really not that loud in real life. it's quite
Quiet??

I must admit the engine sounds nothing compared to the anthem it's a bit dull if u ask me but still a good truck
mine sounds exactly lika a mack anthem why is that any help?
My ats didn't update to the 1.51 Don't know why
SCS engine sounds lack RPMs, they sound flat, you don't get any details like turbo whine and so on.
Yeah eastern Arkansas along 55 is basically all plain river delta, driven it many times IRL and it's a pretty boring drive
Mack Anthem copy with different exterior 🤷
The same as Western Star is a Cascadia with a different hood.
Interior looks copy and paste. Idk if that's real Interior or if that we a sorry short cut
Unfortunately looks old
Well it's not
