This isn’t book content, but would you ever consider doing a video of your jewelry? I’m so curious to get a look at your rings and where you got them from! 😊
Comment 2: I taught Frankenstein to my group of seniors 13 years ago. They were so upset that the creature didn’t have a name that they all decided his name was Lenny, and that’s what we called him throughout the study.
I don't think I will ever stop being in awe of your set-up, from the plants (spot ON!) to the armchair, to your outfit, to the angle of the camera... Yours Is one of the (very few) best settings I have ever seen in a RUclips video. Love It, you really nailed the decoration of your Reading/recording nook. Bye!
I read a 108 books last year!! Thats almost 30mmore books then the year before 😱 dont know How it happened. Wasnt trying to read more. I just read. But really, your taste in books is amazing! I always end up adding so many books to my tbr when I watch one of your videos 🎉
This video made my day! Since finding you, I have picked up so many different books I would have never considered. I love your energy and your passion for books.
Hello lovely Lexi , what an awesome video. Thanks to your channel and patreon I read some interesting books. I read 75 books in 2023 , have same goal for 2024. 🍵
I managed to read 125 books last year, which was the most I've ever done. My goal for this year is only 100. I don't want to risk feeling pressured to read.☕️
strong year - I too 'threw down' The Nest -- so thought I'd like that one - and don't think I made it a 1/3rd of the way thru it ... 🥴 appreciate all your work putting together ALL your 2023 reads! hope you have many ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reads in 2024! ☕🫖 Jacqueline
What I liked most about your video is how much positive you had to say about all the books you read last year :) With some people, I sometimes wonder if they actually like to read because they find so much to criticise about almost every book. I don't know how many books I read last year but I am an obsessive listener to audiobooks. I finished more than 130 audiobooks in 2023. This year, I want to read a little more non fiction
☕️🫖 I could watch your videos every single day. You have the best books and just most fun time. The descriptions of the books you’ve read makes me want to run out and get them that minute, especially the ones you loved.
Gosh Lexi, when you talked about The Mountain is You, it just confirmed that I think you'd get some things out of How to Keep House While Drowning because KC Davis actually breaks down how to get done what you need for those things. I read 94 books last year. I want to read at least 52 this year. Great video - love the vibes! 🍵🦊
Great Video Lexi and I read about 5 books last year and my favorite one was definitely the sequel to Belladonna Foxglove and now I can’t wait for the third book this year 📚😊 Have a Wonderful Week and Happy Reading 📖☕️
Okay, I am gonna reread Frankenstein this year. I read it and did not vibe with it at all, same with Circe. And I feel like my mood and expectations may have impacted my experience with them both
25 books since i found your channel which got me reading more then iv ever have in my life ! I think its been a year 😂❤❤❤ and i hope to read double this year! Iv always loved books but never made the time to read book after book! ❤
Can I just say that I love that it's a reasonable amount of books! I love your channel, and we have similar taste! I'm so sad because I want to be your best friend. 😂 Seriously, though, best book recs! 💛
I actually visited the town where Death by Chocolate Chip Cupcake is set over the summer. The hardware store had the entire series in the back room, I believe signed copies.
☕ Loved the video, Lexi! We have very similar tastes! I read 125 put of 120 😅. I busted my original 100 reading goal, and then read 5 more than my final goal of 120. I also adored Amina Al-Sarafi, Emily Wilde, Legends and Lattes (which I read last year), and I'm a big fan of King's On Writing (it's the only King book I really liked. I've also read Dreamcatcher, but... That was an acid trip.), and Frankenstein. I was not a fan of Pineapple Street, for the same reason you loved it - I can't stand rich people drama lol Half a Soul, The Swifts, Alone With You in the Ether, Flower Bride, Orquidea Divina, Six Crimson Cranes, Kingdom of Sweets... Those are all on my TBR for this year. Tress will be moved to next year, when I read through all the Cosmere books. It's funny how you went over Stolen Heir and said "This is less toxic than the Cruel Prince series!!"... And I literally started that series last night 😂 I want Witch Hat Atlier really bad. I think you'd like Ascendence of a Bookworm too! Gavin just read the first one for a video, and then bought the rest of them in a book haul 😅. There's the light novels, and then the manga that were drawn later, so be careful which you get. Same story, two different formats (the light novels are farther ahead than the manga) and both types go by Part first, and then Volume. So, first one is Part 1, Volume 1. Second one is Part 1, Volume 2, and so forth. Since you liked Keeper of Enchanted Rooms, you should definitely check out Charlie Holmberg's Spellbreaker/Spellmaker duology. Victorian era story, about a woman who has the power to break magic spells, but is doing it on the fly- she's supposed to be registered as a magic user, but doesn't want to conform to whatever the government dictates for her life. I believe a murder happens, and a high level magician has to go investigate it. Happy to see you enjoyed a lot of the reads you had last year! Hope this next one is just as good!
Right now I'm reading a series by Tasha Alexander called Lady Emily Mysteries I'm on the last one she has written on 2023 so far but I just ordered The woman in Black by Susan Hill and The Shadow of the Wind by Zafron..so that will be my reads so far for 2024! I have decided to step away from my usual series I read and see what else is out there.
I read 135 books last year & my internal competitive side just wants to beat this 😂 But mostly I just want to use what I learned about my reading tastes to just read more books that I enjoy. I’ve read 7 so far.
🫖 I just have to say, I look forward to your videos so much! Thank you for warming up my day. Where I live it's -20 outside. This made my week loads better!
Thank you 👏🏽 you throwing away the Nest, is exactly how I felt. The hype over that book was too much. Then you read it and immediately realize...these people didn't even read it/are not readers & don't know a good book or/are paid sponsors 😂 I read this awhile ago, I was wondering when a book influencer would call it out. Finally 🤓
I read 49 books last year but slowed down significantly in the last quarter of the year though due to life events. Read only one book so far in January but my goal is set to 30 this year which seems reasonable all things considered.
🍵 I read a little over 300 last year. (This is including audiobooks) This year, I hope to just stick with my goal of 200, but we'll see. So many things come up that I want to read.
The Marvellers by Donielle Clayton has a sequel out now. I really enjoyed this book. The main character attends a magic boarding school that is located in the sky.
I DNF’d Once Upon a River. I just could not get into it. It was super slow and it just was not my cup of tea. I did finish the year having read 62 books, though! I upped my goal to 72 for this year, and I’ve got a good roll going right now! ☕️
🍵 I was wondering if you have ever read "The Lost Carousel of Provence " by Juliet Blackwell, and if so, what did you think of it? I read it recently and really loved it. It was my first book from Juliet. If you have read her books before, would you please recommend others that are good? I'm going to try and read a lot more books this year than I did last year. Sounds like you read some really interesting books last year, and I am interested in quite a few of them ;)
I did that in 2023! It was a struggle because I tend to read 60 books but I subscribed to Scribd (now named Everand) and they have so many audiobooks I started to listen to books outside my genres (social justice non fiction, romance, etc) and it was so great because you don't feel bad for dnfing and you avoid reading slumps! Good luck :)
I wish you all the best with ur reading and strong positive vibes and energy for your reading in 2024 hope you love and find amazing books this year Lexie 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉📚📖📖📖📚📖📖🩵📙📙🩵📖📖📚🩵🩵📚📚📚🩵🩵🩵📚📚📖📖📖📚🩵📙📙🩵📚📖📚📚📙📙🩵📖📖📖📖📚🩵🩵
I chose the audiobook for Orquidea Divina and I ended up liking it but not loving it and I keep wondering if I made the wrong choice and would have loved it if I read physically
I was SO disappointed in The Kingdom of Sweets. I even special ordered the UK cover with the Nutcracker on the front. Anytime Klara or Natasha interacted with the Kingdom of Sweets I was bored out of my mind. No clue what was going on. I wanted to DNF it but persevered. 2 stars
This isn’t book content, but would you ever consider doing a video of your jewelry? I’m so curious to get a look at your rings and where you got them from! 😊
I second this! Also just her wardrobe in general. I love her sense of fashion!
Yes!
Please consider
☕️
Me toooo! I've even paused it trying to get a look at the rings! I'm def a ring girl!
Comment 2: I taught Frankenstein to my group of seniors 13 years ago. They were so upset that the creature didn’t have a name that they all decided his name was Lenny, and that’s what we called him throughout the study.
I am in love with this comment ❤

Bye!
The Rules of Magic is a prequel to Practical Magic, and the movie Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman starred in. Love the movie.👍🏻

12:09 I literally cannot express the satisfaction I get from hearing you say Orquídea Divina
Love the flower teacup and teapot 🫖 ☕️🌸
Thank youuuu😊
You just confirmed for me how much I trust your taste with that review of The Nest! Thank you for all your recommendations!
Yes!
This video made my day! Since finding you, I have picked up so many different books I would have never considered. I love your energy and your passion for books.
I love Aveline Jones. It is so well done. And there are 2 more books in the series so far 😊
☕️ I love watching all of your book knowledge! Your takes on books are very insightful, I definitely add to my tbr based on your recs❤
Hello lovely Lexi , what an awesome video. Thanks to your channel and patreon I read some interesting books. I read 75 books in 2023 , have same goal for 2024. 🍵

I read 23 last year and aim to read 24 this year too (was my goal but didn't make it). ☕
Happy reading for 2024! ❤
This was fun. I also love your set up (the plants, teapot & tea cup, piles of books, etc)! Also, where is your blouse from? It's to die for!
I love that you read middle grade books! I added a few to my TBR :)
Where have you been? Miss your videos!❤️
I read The Clackity to my 6th graders after you mentioned it last year. They loved it!
Ahh cozy tea wrap up with Lexi! 😊 what a gorgeous tea set! Loved this! 😊

wow I'm adding so many of these books to my wishlist.... everything you talk about them makes me curious to read TT

I would love to see a video where you recommend books from each genre, this would really help me to expand my horizons :)
☕️ just put alot of these on my tbr!!! Now time to read ❤
I love your descriptions! So uniquely Lexi! The Shady Hollow cracked me up. Just enjoyed this video so much.
☕️ cheers. I read 65 books last year. So many came from recommendations you made ❤
I LOVE the vibe of this video so muuuch!
“We’re drinking tea and talking about books”

☕️ such a fun time. Loved this recap 🥰🥰a few new fun middle grades have been added to my list!
🍵 I love your videos! I read 52 books in 2023. I set a low-stakes goal of 24 this year but would like to read more around 60.
🍵 I read 29 books this year and would like to read 31 this year . Happy New Year!
☕ My favorite reads were the Eva Evergreen Duology last year soo good. I am almost caught up with Julie Abe's back log.
Can I just say that I love that it's a reasonable amount of books! I love your channel, and we have similar taste! I'm so sad because I want to be your best friend. 😂 Seriously, though, best book recs! 💛
☕️ Added a lot of books to my tbr, love your videos
Great video! Love your top! Beautiful! ☕️
🍵 Thanks for new titles being added to my tbr 😆
A great reading year for you! I read 120 books last year. My goal this is 100, I lowered it a bit to give myself wiggle room. 🍵
I actually visited the town where Death by Chocolate Chip Cupcake is set over the summer. The hardware store had the entire series in the back room, I believe signed copies.
☕
Loved the video, Lexi! We have very similar tastes!

Hi Alexandra!
If you loved Half a soul I recommend you read the 2nd in the trilogy, Ten thousand stitches, it's really good too!
I read 135 books last year & my internal competitive side just wants to beat this 😂 But mostly I just want to use what I learned about my reading tastes to just read more books that I enjoy. I’ve read 7 so far.

I read 172 books last year and hope to read at least 150 this year but hopefully more 👍

What a great year ❤
Thank you for this video. Your videos are always very interesting! From Italy a lot of cups🫖☕☕of tea!
I read 16 books, didn't start reading till September though. I'm hoping to read 50 books this year, but we'll see what happens.
That teapot, so beautiful!☕ I read 50 last year, goal for this year is 30.
Thank you 👏🏽 you throwing away the Nest, is exactly how I felt. The hype over that book was too much. I started The Woman in Black by Susan Hill..wow her writing is so descriptive..she is a great writer..story is good so far..worth the read
I read 49 books last year but slowed down significantly in the last quarter of the year though due to life events. Read only one book so far in January but my goal is set to 30 this year which seems reasonable all things considered.
I've read 30 last year. Aiming to get 52 this year. I have so many TBRs to get through 😅☕

You read so many great books!❤
The Marvellers by Donielle Clayton has a sequel out now. I really enjoyed this book. The main character attends a magic boarding school that is located in the sky.
Seriously every time you talk about books I’ve read we literally have the same thoughts! We must have the same book tastes.
Put some of these books on my TBR list. 🍵

I think I read around 60 books last year. I want to read 100 this year!
Are u going back to weekly videos? Miss your videos so much!
I read 40 books. I also loved the Brittney Spears book, but my favorite book of the year was Butterfly 5 by Ashley Antoinette
I read 90 books last year. I set a goal of 50 this year. I've read 3 so far. I also listen to nonfiction and Memoirs in audiobooks!
I want to read 100 books in 2024! But I want to also expand my genres!
I did that in 2023! Oh I love these goals!!
Frostheart is so good! I should make it a priority to continue the series
I loved it too!!

🫖 Last year I read 165 books. This year I want to read 100+ again but my TBR has chunkier books this year. 🍵
I had never heard you flat out say “I didn’t like it” 😳
I know lol trust me youuuuu can skip it 🙃🥲
I read 137 books in 2023, Im glad you enjoyed Emily Wildes Encyclopaedia of Faries, its such a cute book ☕️
What top are you wearing here? It’s really pretty! ❤
Thank you! It’s from Anthropologie!! 😊
I chose the audiobook for Orquidea Divina and I ended up liking it but not loving it and I keep wondering if I made the wrong choice and would have loved it if I read physically
I forget how we names Frankenstein's monster lol was it Paul?
I loved the Villa 😩
I read a lot of the same books as you 😅. My goal was 50 books for 2023 and I ended up reading 58. I’m keeping my goal of 50 this year.
2 stars
Great video. 🎊⛄❄️📚☕
I read about 54 books last year, some of which I liked but others that were mediocre. I don't really set a goal of books I want to read.
but now I'm curious about the book you threw across the room. last year I read 223 books and this year I've set my goal for 75.
Most important question.
Where is the teacup from?!
I think you'll love Billy Summers by Stephen King, and The Institute by Stephen King 👑
☕I read 18 books and listened to 6 audiobooks and one of my favourits was Rick Riordan daughter of the deep.☕
In 2023 I read 180 books. This year I have my goal set to 175 because I have quite a few chonky books I’m planning to read
I only read 50 books last year so my goal for 2024 is to just beat that number.
But the most important question: what is your favourite tea? ☕️
I read 23 on a goal of 18. This year I'm aiming for 24 but my stretch goal is 36.
I’ve read 17 of these and that was also my reaction to The Nest 😂
another great video
I read 42 books last year, and I’d like to read 52 this year. ☕️
Oh my gosh j laughed so hard when you threw The Nest. What was wrong with it??
☕My want to read list just got Higher very fast😂
