We may never know, but he may have understood the pain Keshi endured, and realized his presence only served as a burden that catalyzed the suffering. Perhaps their separation was the best and only course of action he could possibly take, having no choice.

The interpretations that can be made in this video are amazing and it means so much to me. I think he created his own angel due to the pain and suffering he has to face everytime going to the ring. The angel watches over him and encourages him to not give up when he's too hurt and discouraged to continue fighting. Also whenever he felt lonely or afraid of not knowing what to do next, the angel assured him to be always there for him and showed him his sincere worries and compassion, when nobody was there. He unwrapped the scars from the past and the present to open up to him once more and believed to save himself or to be saved from the hurt and misery. Once the angel was gone, he realized that even an angel can't lift him up and save him from the pain he's going to face in the next ring and the discomfort of things that influences his life. I can't tell, if he felt betrayed and abandoned by that angel and thought that he was left alone or saw himself alone outside in the darkness more clearly now. Then he wrapped up the bandages around his wrist again and stood up as a sign that he has to stand up on his own and fight again on his own. He learned to keep his head high in the hardest time and never expect to be saved by someone. The angel may or may not have disappeared in his life depending if he still believes in him but knowing he can't always rely on him, which made the angel's existence more invisible. We may have our own beliefs that keep us moving to a certain path which has many doors open for other paths and in the end we decide to walk in or walk away from them. Someone who can show you the way but not decide to lead you or decide your own destiny always happen to disappear one day even if it hurts too much to to be left alone in the darkness and unsure which way to go. He chose to figure out on his own what he is able to face in this cruel world and carry his own burdens in order to encourage people/fans to not give up on life or something in life and try to figure out what keeps them going and why and what they chose in life.

Here's my interpretation of these short films. In [HELL/HEAVEN], the boxing match is meant to represent the hardships of life and how it is constantly beating him down. At the start of [LIMBO], Keshi says "God I hate it when you do that" when his friend speaks up beside him. This suggests that his friend is a fabric of his imagination and appears time from time to give him advice. Perhaps this friend has left his life in some sort of way which is unexplained. Here in [ANGEL], his friend disappears and he steps back into the ring, perhaps meaning that he is ready to face his hardships on his own. Overall, love these films as they add an extra layer of depth to the album!

Keshi, has gone through a lot. When the guy says "You know I'll always be there for you right?" It was his promise for Keshi. It most likely is one of the most impactful things he has said that has stuck with Keshi ever since.. The moment the guy disappeared, it shows him the vulnerability and how human that promise was. He was there for Keshi, but was Keshi there for him? I feel like that's why he named the title here as Angel. Because the dude was there for Keshi, and Keshi regrets not doing the same. That's why he's wrapping his wounds again, to show that he needs to stay strong and keep fighting. Maybe the guy disappearing was a symbol of him gone and dead, hence "Angel". For Keshi to ever give back to his friend, is to just keep fighting and living for him.
