Hellcat should live on forever!
Don’t blame Dodge, blame Stellantis with their 2035 emissions target and the increasing emissions standards that are taking the fun out of performance cars and trucks.
And all based on theory they can’t prove. The whole green thing is a scam for leftists investing. Sure the pollution of the 70’s was bad but most automakers have done a great job of knocking down pollution down to nothing
There new ev is beyond bad ass and still has the V8 sound and no its not a radio or speaker it's a true resonator.
@omarcarreras3381 I'd rather have a real V8 and their resonator sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
@@userundefined01 doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner and it's faster louder and better than the old one so just shut the f****** and stop crying Karen lol 😂 you don't know about cars and you probably don't even drive yet your vote doesn't count go get some hot wheels instead.
@omarcarreras3381 I just listened to the EV charger and my Dyson vacuum and my scat pack. The EV charger and my Dyson sound very similar and nothing like my scat pack. Idc if the plug in car is faster. I'll take the real V8 over a fake wanna be V8 any day. Really, you don't think I drive? Wow, what a loser 😆! Maybe you should sit down and STFU! Oh and sorry to disappoint you but my name isn't Karen 🤷🏻♂️.
Stellantis does not want to get rid of it. Our stupid government is worried about the wrong stuff. Getting harder to meet strict emissions regulations.
Like you said though if only they could get more economical powertrains in other models to offset it. I think they were caught off guard and don’t really have enough time to go that route.
The automakers have done a great job of knocking down polluting down to nothing compared to the 70’s. Now they’re chasing unicorns with zero carbon bull crap. The cargo ships that come from Asia emit more carbon than 100,000 cars do in a year. Cars ARE NOT THE PROBLEM
@@jimsteinway695 That's what happens when democrats and climate change idiots get installed in government and given a platform to spew their BS. All thanks to the WEF.
100% correct. And Ford/Chevy can get away with it for now due to their diverse offerings helping their overall CAFE requirements.
Man that supercharger whine is really prominent
My favorite muscle car! Amazing job Ben.
They should have continued the hellcat and demon
i was about to buy this demon car but F this shit
Bro, this specific Challenger reviewed looks SO cool! Sad that Dodge is discontinuing the gas version, but good to know that Dodge is still competing in the muscle car market against the Supra, Mustang, and Camaro. #dodgechallengerforever.
I will never pay $79,000 for cloth seats.
You can order it in leather. Some people like the cloth or alcantara seats because they don’t wrinkle like leather
@@smcg1938 Its just my bias against cloth seats. They seem cheap but that's just me. Thanks for the info! 🤗
Not even a wide body. Boo dodge, I hope this price gouging destroys them.
Worth 55 if cloth seats since no major upgrades on engine so yeah 79k nahh
And not even the upgraded infotainment like in the Durango. What a missed opportunity
I’m actually disappointed with the 23s I was hoping they would do different with the body lines and upgrade their interior
they're flooding hellcats with god damn houndstooth cloth seats. :/ like huh???? this is an expensive ass car, what happened to the standard leather from 2022's models? i have a v6 rn and dont get me wrong, the fabric seats are comfy but not suited for a luxury car like a hellcat.
I thought hellcats were only coming in widebody glad they got some slim body can’t wait to get mine 🥶🙏🏽
slimbody gross
The black key seems like it would be useful for daily driving and roadtrips.
Get ready for SRT8 and hellcat values to spike!
That car is timeless
80,000 non widebody 😂😂😂 no thanks
@Lynx Actual keep dreaming
@Lynx Actual I have a Hellcat…… when I said keep dreaming, I meant it as don’t be under the delusion that our cars are going to sky rocket in value. The only ones that will be worth a damn are the Redeyes, Jailbreaks, Superstocks, and of course the Demons. They will all initially plummet in value due to lesser demands because in the next 5-10 years newer vehicles will put perform them. Of course, I could eat my words, but the hellcats are already dropping in value now. And in a couple years when all of these repossessions happen because far too many people took out loans for these vehicles they can’t afford due to FOMO, they will drop even more. It was all a marketing gimmic by the media and dealerships to go people to buy as many as possible because Dodge isn’t making them anymore. And they most definitely won’t retain their value if you put a lot of miles on them. So basically the only ones that will sky rocket are the garage queens and car collectors show rooms. I too plan on getting rid of my hellcat for a higher Tier. Only issue I have is I like manual and the higher tiers don’t come with it from what I researched so I might be SOL.
I want the Hellcat Charger. The wife only wants the V8.
I want a charger ‘23 and my wife wants a challenger ‘23 but I was hoping they would change some things like the look of the ‘23
You failed to take it too the track to prove what the car can do.
Watching this at 1:32am 😆
Agreed. Unless an electric one will be available.
It's not a 2023. All 2023 have a last call plaque in the engine compartment. Just saying.
It’s a 22. I saw it last week. Ended up ordering a 23 widebody scat pack from another dealer.
Wow! Nice Hellcat 😼 I would love to own one, one of these days. But for now I am going to get used to my dodge Challenger RT. Baby steps.
Hard to say, how much money was given to dodge to go electric
That’s crazy ngl money says everything and the worlds just gonna keep going to shi
Yeah I really think stellantis is doing a disservice to Chrysler and dodge when you would think they would maybe keep the motor around and maybe do a update to the v8 engines in their lineup but I think the only thing that will survive from the North American side are the trucks and jeep just sad.
I can order anyone a hellcat. The hellcats have the sick logo in the light
Order me one and I don't want to pay for it either lol
Give us the 426 supercharged motor
I think car company should sell cars that are selling..
Bruhhhhh the 1st 30 secs I couldn't quite understand wuuuuuttt you were saying not to be clowning frfr
Dude: slow does. Just drive fast.
Ben all I can say is Buttons Delete, took the steering wheel, not for the money you pay
8:54 proves he LIES about this being a 2023 (JUST TO GET VIEWS) when if you pause it you can clearly see it says "2022" on the window sticker! Smh!
There ain’t no way they can get rid of the hellcats, just like there ain’t no way, they can get rid of combustion engines. At least I hope not, because I love a good v-8 engine.
That’s how you drive a hellcat Smoooothhh💪🏽🙌🏾😂
Show the 2023 (Last call) plaque???? THATS A 2022….
I am not 🚫 the smartest tool in the toolbox, but while are American Auto manufacturers discontinuing top selling muscle 💪 cars???? 🤔
This car is Sweet As Candy😍👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏆
I'll take this over the Mustang.
2023 dodge challenger hellcat is a cool car love hellcat
$80k and cloth seats.... No sir.
It’s a 2022 not a 2023, he wouldn’t show the top of the sticker.
It’s just not fair we can’t we have supercharged v8
i wish i had more time i am 16 i had plan to buy Hellcat when i have enough money but F--- drems got boom
DODGE DONT WANT TO DISCONTINUE, THE GOVERMENT IS
Dodge did that to themselves. they rank the worst in emissions because of their high performance engines that produce too much carbon and they no longer meet US emissions standards so they’re killing the hemi V8.
Seriously EVs are rapidly approaching their limits and their max numbers .
What’s ev
@@willbrown423 Electric Vehicle
They haven’t discontinued they engine’s just them making the car
Those seats are horrid
WOW!!!!
79k yikes!!
2022 not a 2023
stupid? I think not, the current markup is almost 100% on ordering these cars. smartest marketing decision ever. The value has skyrocketed. second these motors can not meet EPA regulations set for 2024. easy peesy
Trade you're Raptor For The Raptor R .
Once I find a deal I will
2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat!
Bad 2 the bone even without the widebody
Charger > challenger
2022
Don't drive this in Arkansas
Why?
@@BigMikeRobinsonFJB Ask the Arkansas State Police!
So hyper.
Yes they should have offered both electric AND gasoline powered performance sedans.Stupid decision.
This guy talks way too fast, especially in the intro. He must be hyper. He slurs his words often.
Why review this car? It’s been the same shit since 2015 lol
You talk way too fast.
SRT black package is discontinued for 2023s…you are thirsty for views
our federal government......biden...discontinuing the v8s
Stop talking so fast cant understand most of what you’re saying
its old and outdated. the chassis is a dinosaur by todays standards. too heavy as well
Times change if you want the old charger buy it but the new ev charger is nice too.
Hellcats n trackhawks🔫🔫🔫
