While you do showcase products, you DO NOT promote them in a way that really seems fraudulent. You TEACH detailing. Very genuine. I love your content. Excellent results, always. I don’t like to be this complimentary most of the time because people become egotistical without even realizing it, but I really like your style. Thank you. God bless.
agreed! I use the tornador air gun, if you’re going all in, blowing everything out before hand get so much better results! I truly feel that it gets more dust and debris that a vacuum will never reach. Love your content, it has helped me become a better detailer, hands down! Thank you.
Great job on the detail! But I really want to give you some props on how good you are at making these! This wasn’t anything like 90% of the videos on RUclips that lose your attention, have empty audio space, repetitive clips, etc. You’ve really got the recipe down here. First time seeing your videos, and you kept me watching! 👏 keep it the good work! Came here from the Facebook group btw!
I should have blown out my mother's car interior this week when she dropped it off, it looked very similar with debris and I spent far too much time trying to vacuum it, I'll remember this for next time!
You brought back lots of Soul to this car. Well done Chelsea. P.S. Im still waiting for you to come over to Australia and do a ceramic coating on my car :)
I've had my eye on that blower. That is the only one I've found that is variable speed. I don't do enough to justify a big air compressor and tornador so this is perfect. The blower is rarely discounted so if you're on the fence just get one.
Very nice! About a year ago, I started using a smallish air-compressor my late Father-in-Law gave me when he closed his masonary business. Using that, set at 70 psi output and a 12" blowgun wand, I can get most interiors 75% or better cleaned out, without doing anything else. I open all the doors and blow the debris from from back to front, then from one side to the other, and out the opposite door (I do this BEFORE the wash to keep the blown debris from landing on a clean car. Once that is done, the remaining debris can be vacuumed out in only a few minutes.
Looks fantastic!! Great job, Chelsea!! I REALLY like that design of the Kia Soul, which they no longer make, I wish they'd bring it back! It's a more attractive design for that car, in my opinion. Thanks for posting!!
Good video Chelsea. I also use and love the Turtle Wax Pro Pure Wash. Like you said, great lubrication. I'm interested to see your review of both the Koch Chemie SO.03 and their Gummifix product for floor mats. This car would have benefitted from them IMO. Thanks.
Excellent job Chelsea in my neck of the woods lol 🤣 what you did on this vehicle would be fine for most customers. Unless of course they want a ceramic coating.
That turned in out amazing ..I used to smoke cigars in my car back in the day and that is the biggest mistake i ever made.. i couldn't ever get the smell out after I quit
OK, it's 6:48 am while I'm watching this with my first cup of coffee and I seriously laughed out loud like an idiot at the slow-mo, "Holy crap!" Man...keep it fresh. On a happier note though I love disrupting the debris in those hard to reach places with my tornador. You're 1000% correct on how that improves your vacuuming efficiency.
You should check out the DIY Detailing drying towels or the Klin Drying Duo EVO Edition towels, the same thread type. They are the best I’ve used, better than the large twisted loop towel I saw you using. Nice video; your descriptions of your work are always succinct & helpful.
Thank you for posting this video as I was praying to Jesus of Nazareth last night about working on my efficiency cleaning carpets with lost hair. The Kia looks amazing and he should be thrilled with the quality of your work. Thank you for the video.
It’s very minimal and you can position yourself out of the way or work from one side and push it forward. But when there’s sand and heavy dirt yeah it can be a little sandblasting but only a few seconds.
Chelsea. I enjoy watching your videos. I'm learning a lot from you on how to take care of the vehicles in my house. What dilution ratio you use Dark Fury for the door jam s. Thanks
Doing this in 5 hours there should be no major setbacks like big stains, dirty carpet or headlights that are affected by years in UV. I am trying out the worst cars (older also) and it takes about 10-12 hours to do it all. But great job on bringing the Soul back to life
Nice job on the Kia I’ve seen products like ceramic gloss taking the place of traditional wax in your opinion do you think they last just as long as wax
Ceramic sealants are gonna last anywhere from 3 to 6 months and most waxes last anywhere from 2 to 3 months in my experience so I feel like most ceramic sealants definitely will out perform waxes.
Lately my jobs seem to have taken me too long. I use my adams mini cannon like you to blow out also. Thanks for sharing. Windows continue to be one of my biggest struggles. I ordered the new bilt hamber trace less glass cleaner hopefully it helps😅
Windows are also my Achilles heel, lol. It's so hard to avoid / removing linting! I even got some new Rag Company diamond weave towels, that I was separately and I still get some linting
@rjanuari1978 I've tried every single window towel on the market. Used em brand new, used em washed following all known proper protocols etc. Used every window cleaner and rinseless washes...still streaks and micro lint
I’d recommend finding someone who can train you or consider Detailwise academy classes if you live anywhere near Chicago- they are definitely worth it but if that’s not an option find a business you can work for to learn under them or just start off on family and friends vehicles before you work on customers cars.
The only thing I don't like about weather tech liners is the hard inflexible plastic they use. If they made them a little softer and flexible they would be perfect.
Agreed. I personally like all weather mats that are more rubber like and comfortable vs these plus they are easier to clean and less likely to be stained by mud and fade
Better? No. More affordable and works very similarly- yes. It may not blow out sand and dirty quite as well but for blowing out crevices and cleaning plastics it’s more than sufficient. It just depends on what you need it to do
I am curious as to how many people these days opt for ceramic coating vs a carnauba wax for protection. I like a glaze, sealant, wax and Turtle Wax’s new line of spray ons for maintenance.
Anyone going any further than that with a daily driver is going to be very disappointed in about 4-6 weeks when all those imperfections return... multi step perfection details should be reserved for trailered show cars or maybe sunday drivers that live in a garage
I live 10 minutes from car supply warehouse. Stopped in yesterday and told them how I subscribe to your channel. They mentioned you were there in April (?). Do you have any plans to return? They are really good people.
I was there last April for the Creator Summit. As of now I don’t have any plans to return but who knows what the future holds. But glad you live close and can benefit from them- they are a great group of people!
Great video. My only question is, why are you worried about water spotting on the paint when you're going to polish? Wouldn't polishing get rid of them?
Doing great! I reserve it mainly for paint enhancements as it’s not the best at heavy correction but especially on large vehicles, It has been a great tool to have in my arsenal.
@@attention2detailswchelsea thank you for quick reply , I've been a follower of your channel for a while now . I opened up my mobile detailing business a year and a half ago already and I've been learning from professionals like yourself , Miranda , Pan , Serrano and 1 or 2 other guys that I think are legit people and bring a good teaching to the detailing community. Unfortunately we see a bunch of social media detailers that all they do is try and push a product and not teach at all. I also just started my detailing channel myself and would one day have influence on teaching others myself. Please if you can give me a follow oh and btw I'm thinking about getting the Milwaukee DA since I already have the M18 batteries but I've been interested in that spta cordless polisher
So even when you use formula 4 spray wax and you're going to do a polish, it doesn't matter? It won't clog up your pads or give you any trouble? Would love to know cuz I would always avoid using it before a correction bc I thought it's like adding protection before a polish and it would add more work.

Looks phenomenal. I've always been impressed with how fast you complete these jobs with amazing results. I feel slow. Guess I'm getting old.

My only question is, why are you worried about water spotting on the paint when you're going to polish? Wouldn't polishing get rid of them?
It just prevents a level of correction I would need to do on the glass and paint which would just take more time to correct
