I remember this storm so well. There was a young man that passed away in this storm. Once the storm ceased, he was able to leave the barbershop over on Hillside. On his walk home, he stepped into a large puddle which had a down powerline. He was electrocuted. Rest in Peace :( I remember hearing the sirens shortfly after I had just arrived to my bfs apt there on Marcella. Those streets were terribly flooded.
I wish I was there but knowing me I'd bottle it and run for cover. Great filming though. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot stop watching this storms, I find them mesmerising

looks like a normal midday Texas shower, followed by hot humid afternoon, followed by a nice cool breezy clear night. you can experience all 4 seasons in one day
It’s not the same, know what you mean but with a microburst it just suddenly punches down with enormous force, winds all over the place, sounding like a load of trains running past close, screeching, howling. We got 2 inches of rain in 5 minutes today’s microburst. I’ve been in a hurricane too. Edit: this is more like the one I was in today plus a hell of a sound ruclips.net/video/WOSFgUFXUCs/видео.html We had two earlier this year as well, so inbetween I cut down all big trees close to the house and trimmed any likely to snap. Hid everything that can fly like pots, water cans etc
I remember that afternoon. I think it was around 5 or 6 PM. I was going south on I-35 and had to take cover in a car wash. A bunch of cars huddled together under a canopy for about 45 minutes. It was pretty exciting, but a little scary.
To all those who say this is bad weather, well, it is if you're out n about IN it, but to me,. if you're not, it's better weather than a sunny day IMHO. :)
You know, I can agree to that. Sunny days are so boring. They're beautiful, dont get me wrong, but the weather in this video is...oh what am I trying to say...euphoric. I love the Spring time in the Midwest.
