- Randy Santel "Atlas" vs the 6lb Impossible Waffle Eating Challenge w/ 26 Belgian Waffles at The Milk Road Coffee located in Jacksonville, North Carolina!! After finishing up my food challenges in Tennessee, I traveled to North Carolina where I attempted lots of delicious food challenges as part of my 2020 Southeast USA Tour. For event #6, I traveled to Jacksonville, North Carolina and attempted to beat the new 6lb Impossible Waffle Eating Challenge at The Milk Road Coffee. This event helped to kick off their re-opening which was awesome for everyone and lots of fun. The Milk Road Coffee is known for serving authentic Belgian-style waffles made with Brioche bread in addition to all the delicious coffee options they have available. I had 40 minutes to finish 2 Baker's Dozen of their waffles (26), plus a bottle of Topo Chico mineral water and a "quad" caramel iced coffee. I was trying to become the first winner to earn my $90 waffle meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and my name and photo up on their Wall of Fame!! Thank you to the owners and their staff with The Milk Road Coffee for the wonderful waffles, drinks, and hospitality, and to everyone who came that day to watch and meet me!! I appreciate everyone around the Jacksonville, NC area and throughout the great state of North Carolina who supports our efforts!! The Milk Road's Impossible Waffle Eating Challenge w/ 26 Belgian Waffles in Jacksonville, NC ($90):
- The Milk Road Coffee just started this eating challenge at their location in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
- They specialize in serving authentic Belgian-style waffles just like the street food found in Belgium.
- For my particular challenge since we didn't know any better, there was a 40 minute time limit. The time limit is 1 hour for everyone moving forward, just FYI in case anyone is interested.
- Eating challengers must finish 26 waffles equivalent to about 6lbs, plus a bottle of Topo Chico mineral water and a "quad" flavored (caramel) iced coffee with 4 shots of espresso.
- Winners receive the meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and spot on The Milk Road's Wall of Fame!!

I agree $90 bucks is expensive, but Belgium waffles aren't just regular waffles. They're slightly flakey, like a croissant, and they have a very rich buttery flavor. They also have sugar cubes in them!

When he said there were 18 left he looked like it was tough going. Its a difficult type of food to eat, dry and no variety. They should have made it a mixed waffle/icecream challenge , at least it would be tasty

Why no syrup man that’s brutal eating dry waffles almost the same as eating a Popeyes biscuit without anything to drink 😂
The syrup would probably take up extra space and would attract more water (1g of carbs holds between 3 and 4 grams of water)
At least syrup...honey is good too. So is butter and brown sugar!
These waffles are not really dry on their own, they don't need anything on them. Super sweet already

$90 is a heck of a mark-up for waffles...the soda water and coffee probably costs more than all the Waffs. I'm being facetious but waffles are pretty cheap to make.
I am very interested in trying most of these food challenges someday if at all possible. Especially because there’s little to none in my area and I have always wanted to try some challenges. Back to the video regardless of winning or losing you did great!
