Based on the probability that the couple walked twenty miles across rural UK with only one human sighted, I would imagine that the movie's present ratio of living humans to ordinary day numbers are something like 1/50,000.
The boy is a spoiled teenager who is acting out. He wasn't even smart enough to get a water bottle before he started walking. And where did she come from? Neither one had any supplies, water, clothes, jacket, or food. How did they figure they would survive? Another "survivor" carrying an empty back pack.
Jack probably thought he was smashing his mum's face in the way she spoke to him not surprised he is the way he is and she did with a bottle in her hand ...hic hic lol
Moral of the story --- stop being a DB! Also if they are ...odds are watch your back with them. Good job with a zero budget. I'm sure you're thriving by now in 2019

"Don't worry I'm not mental" he said. But I would've asked, are you sure? And the first thing he attacked was the car - which they definitely needed. Then they go for miles on foot. And then nothing.
That was a really well made and edited film. I enjoyed that. nice journey you get taken on as well. Well done :) Made in the same part of the world as me as well. lol Well done again :) Good work
Given the Scenario not a bad story, typical human survivors, well acted. Even if family had NOT disappeared, Jack and Holly would be like that! HOWEVER, the Scenario is weird. Most people just disappeared? If the intention is to depict The Rapture then it is not well-researched and very misleading. Firstly, the majority of people will stay behind, not so few. Secondly, none of the people shown to have disappeared would qualify for The Rapture. And finally, a young girl alone finding a protective group of men in a city AFTER the rapture? Very unlikely, or improbable luck. So, I hope the similarity to The Rapture is by accident, because then the movie is a fine exploration of a weird scenario.
I found this short fair at best. It does show what the attitudes of many would be if consequnces for their actions were suddenly gone. The sad part is I believe that's how many would react if this were to happen in our reality. Thanks... :)
After watching many shorts this is wha i call a walking movie. This one was about 50% walking 50% dialog. Acting was decent but the plot didn't go anywhere or really tell a story. It just was. Could've been great.
Liked it. Thoughtful story, good actors, good production. I'm still debating the takeaway. It reminds me a little bit of the movie Kalifornia, where one character learned something important from a flawed and sometimes despicable character and was changed for the better by it. Holly got a taste of freedom by Jack traded much of it for security and, perhaps rightly, isn't super happy with the trade.
I enjoyed it I don't think Jack had to kill the second guy he was a bit extreme he let the girl get away. But I would have tried to find me a firearm food and water and maybe other survivors that were not out of their minds trust no one in a situation like that and never give up your weapon.
I love the accent.. I wouldve pick some water, food and weapon tho bfore walking just in case... if im in a situation like that. I would try to investigate and look for other survivors.. but.. I would also love to take anything I want 😁😁... woudnt want to be with jack also after him killing so easy and not wanting anyone else,, a bit boring but I think that there is more to the story that they couldve shown. good but could be improved,, my own reaction..
