I love your mindset the most. I get so caught up trying to make a good build i hardly ever enjoy the process. I have a survival world I havent played in ages cause i need to build a starter house. I don't know how to get over this stump.
It’s definitely hard to stay motivated in your worlds - this is the first world where I’ve genuinely actively gotten through building stumps and actually continued working on it for a good amount of time! For me it’s a lot about keeping myself inspired, and being unafraid to make a bad build coz I know I can always change it and make it better! Sometimes you just need to start placing the blocks, and if you make something you don’t like then you can figure out why you don’t like it and change those things to make it better! You can always try again in Minecraft c: Also, don’t be afraid to take breaks from ideas and projects if you’re not feeling it! Build what you’re excited to build in the moment, take breaks, and remember that it’s a game - it’s supposed to be fun! Wishing you luck in all your future Minecraft adventures C:
@@Blitzheart it’s that feeling of making something and potentially not liking it, or it not meeting the level I want it to be at in terms of quality, and then not knowing what to do to it. I guess it’s an inability to commit to a build because I might not make something that’s perfect. Since that’s getting in my way of enjoying the game, I’ll try to change that around. I’ll take your advice to heart and just try to play it through without expecting the absolute best. Even if I don’t like a build I can learn from that for next time. Thanks for your kind words, here’s helping I’ll be able to get past this block.
